Teyana Taylor didn’t want her family fighting over who would get to attend the Oscars.

Actress All’s Fair, nominated for an Oscar this year for her role in One Battle After Another, found herself in an awkward situation. Both her grandmother and her mother, Nikki Taylor, requested to be her date to the Academy Awards.

She confessed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on February 25th that deciding who to invite was a bit tricky. Fortunately, she was able to find a solution that pleased everyone involved.
