TFT | K.O. Coliseum Overview

The ultimate breakdown of this summer’s anime-style brawler set

After bidding farewell to the realm of cyberinsecurity, Whisker is now ready to orchestrate this summer’s most exhilarating competition. Step right up and join us at the K.O. Coliseum, where combatants known as Convergence fighters engage in battle, striving for honor, recognition, and camaraderie.

On July 30, the TFT K.O. Coliseum set starts rolling out along with Patch 15.1. This comprehensive guide will delve into each trait, team, and mechanism, offering insights on how to achieve Prismatic breakpoints for significant boosts in power.

SOUL FIGHTER

Kalista, Naafiri, Lux, Xin Zhao, Viego, Samira, Sett, Gwen

Soul Warriors collaborate, growing stronger with each passing moment. Their strength accumulates both Attack Damage (AD) and Ability Power (AP), reaching a maximum of eight boosts. When fully stacked, they inflict true damage.

Gwen leads as the 5-cost. Every third cast, her threads explode to damage nearby enemies.

STAR GUARDIAN

Rell, Syndra, Xayah, Ahri, Ekko, Jinx, Poppy, Seraphine

Star Guardians get stronger through friendship. Each one boosts your Teamwork Bonus.

Seraphine casts her Friendship Bomb, hitting all enemies in a 2-hex radius based on team stats.

CRYSTAL GAMBIT

Syndra, Janna, Vi, Swain, Ashe, Zyra

Gain Gem Power through both victories and defeats. After every four matches, decide whether to withdraw your earnings or increase them. Increasing gives you more power, but be aware that if you lose, you’ll forfeit half of what you had.

Zyra summons Thornspitters to hit enemies and boost your team’s Attack Speed.

MIGHTY MECH

Aatrox, Lucian, Gangplank, Senna, Jarvan IV, Karma, Yone

Every Mighty Mech you play powers up the Mech. More stars = more strength.

Yone launches swift attacks that alternate between physical and magical damage. His skill impactfully strikes and lifts away two distant foes, causing harm in the process.

WRAITH

Kayle, Zac, Jhin, Malzahar, K’Sante, Varus

Shadows spirits attack the three nearest adversaries from the realm of shadows. The wraith with the least health regains some hit points based on the overall damage inflicted.

Varus gains mana as units die, unleashing a flurry of arrows until he’s out.

BATTLE ACADEMIA

Ezreal, Garen, Katarina, Rakan, Caitlyn, Jayce, Leona, Yuumi

These students level up as the match goes on. The more they learn, the stronger they become.

LUCHADOR

Gnar, Dr. Mundo, Volibear, Braum

Luchadors regain Action Points (AD) and recover when their health drops to half. They also have the ability to heal themselves, remove negative effects on them, and charge headlong into opponents.

In every victory, Braum, the champion, garners cheers from his Poro supporters. However, after a defeat, while the damage lessens for fans, most depart feeling disheartened.

MENTOR

Kobuko, Udyr, Yasuo, Ryze

As a gamer, when mentors clash is usually the norm, but gather them all four, and you’ll unleash a world of hidden bonuses and enhanced skills!

THE CREW

Malphite, Sivir, Shen, Ziggs, Twisted Fate

In this game, the team earns Health Points (HP) and Attack Speed for every team member they have. Aim to amass three stars, and you’ll summon their starship for an incredible assault!

In every turn, Twisted Fate acquires Bounty Cards. His striking assaults tag opponents, while his deployment causes a magical explosion on marked enemies.

SUPREME CELLS

Kennen, Kai’Sa, Darius, Akali

In this scenario, every Superior Cell deals extra damage. The one dealing the highest amount ascends as The Superior, acquiring a ‘finishing blow’ ability against enemies with less than 10% health remaining.

STANCE MASTER

Lee Sin

In every game, Lee Sin chooses a specific role beforehand – Duelist, Executioner, or Juggernaut – and acquires a corresponding skill as a result.

MONSTER TRAINER

Lulu is ready to train the strongest monster. Which one will you choose?

KOG’MAW

Kog’Maw, being a long-range combatant, consistently inflicts potent magical damage on enemies and maintains control over the battlefield by landing precise attacks.

RAMMUS

Rammus, equipped with robust resilience and overpowering durian-scented knockback, pushes back opponents with ease. He’s a formidable force on the battlefield, making him an ideal choice for defending the frontlines due to his hardiness.

SMOLDER

This charming character unleashes flames on opponents as he sneezes, melting their defenses. Despite his fiery attacks, he’s irresistibly endearing and makes quite the AD caster – but remember to keep a handkerchief handy!

SET MECHANIC: POWER UPS

Commence every match by providing a Power Snack to any champion, which grants access to a variety of enhancements. Obtain another Snack for the addition of a second unit at a later time. If you’re not satisfied with your selection, use a removal tool to make a swap.

PRISMATIC TRAITS

You now earn Prismatic traits through in-game quests, no more pure RNG.

Here’s how to unlock them:

  • The Crew: 3-star every Crew unit
  • Mighty Mech: Get three Mech augments
  • Battle Academia: Equip them with completed items
  • Star Guardian: Field 8 and spend Mana
  • Crystal Rose: Cash out a top-tier prize
  • Soul Fighter: Field 8 and deal enough player damage

Each quest rewards you with a powerful Prismatic trait. Try them all in-game!
