If you gaze into the future… you’ll see Anneliese van der Pol‘s life as a mom!
The actress who starred in “That’s So Raven” revealed that she and her husband, Johnno Wilson, are expecting their first child together, with the baby due in October.
Anneliese shared with People magazine on June 27 that they are expecting a daughter. Overjoyed as she is a sister herself, she expressed her delight at expanding their family’s sisterhood with another girl.
The couple, who got married in December, discovered the gender of their baby in a heartwarming moment when Jonno struck a gold ball that burst into a cloud of powder, turning pink. As Anneliese expressed, “I didn’t fully appreciate how much I desired a daughter until he swung and it turned pink.
Absolutely, you’re hoping for a healthy child, and having a son would have been thrilling as well, but there’s something special about a daughter at this moment that I’m incredibly proud of,” the 40-year-old went on. “I don’t care if she becomes a performer or a doctor…but what I do hope is that she grows up to be a strong feminist.
Anneliese, who crossed paths with Johnno while starring as exes on the spinoff series “Raven’s Home” six years back, later provided a glimpse into their experiences in growing their family.
She explained, “First of all, we were the couple that said we would never have kids.”
Johnno, who is 40 years old, mentioned that their hesitancy to begin a family primarily stems from a desire to concentrate on other aspects of life.
He mentioned that from the start of our partnership, it was clear there was a special connection between us, which led to an early discussion about starting a family. We decided to prioritize careers and traveling instead. As for advice, he strongly suggests revisiting your plans together every few years.
Following a discussion about starting a family last summer, they discovered that their perspectives had shifted; however, this new plan was put on hold when Anneliese experienced another moment of insight.
In the very next day, as we were set to meet with our IVF doctor, I discovered that I was overdue. So, I took a test, spotted two lines, and decided to cancel our scheduled appointment. I placed the pregnancy test on Johnno’s pillow and waited for him to uncover the surprise when he came in to deliver my morning coffee.
The Broadway actress added that Johnno “started crying” when he saw her positive pregnancy test.
Regarding their anticipations about parenthood, these expectations are shaped by the experiences of their family members who have already become parents.
Johnno stated, “Given that many of our friends, family members like Pete and Sarah (Anneliese’s sister) have already become parents, we felt well-prepared for any eventuality.
Anneliese concurred, acknowledging that the initial phase of motherhood would indeed prove challenging.
She assured us that neither the pregnancy nor the first year would disappoint us in any way, and fortunately, her pregnancy has been truly delightful.

Following his debut as charming teenager Ethan Craft in the Hilary Duff-starring comedy, Clayton Snyder temporarily stepped away from acting to complete high school and study at Pepperdine University, where he played water polo. Although he appeared in an episode of NCIS in 2014, his primary focus now lies in real estate. However, he doesn’t hesitate to discuss his past as a child actor when the topic arises. As he shared with TopMob News, “Occasionally, clients discover my past and are amazed. They say, ‘We just realized who you are!’ But that makes me feel good because I know it doesn’t affect why they’re working with me. It’s a win-win situation, as they get to enjoy reminiscing about the past while still valuing the work we do.
Following his memorable portrayal of Lizzie’s friend-turned-boyfriend David “Gordo” Gordon in the cherished sitcom, Adam Lamberg took on roles in movies titled “When Do We Dine?” and “The Beautiful Loser”. His LinkedIn profile reveals that he acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from UC Berkeley and later pursued a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College. However, despite his planned comeback for the Lizzie McGuire reboot, he has since stepped away from acting.
After Lalaine, who played Miranda Sanchez, was absent from the last six episodes of Lizzie McGuire and its subsequent movie due to her commitments for the Disney Channel Original Movie You Wish!, her acting career seemingly dwindled. Her music career didn’t gain much traction, and a sequel series for Lizzie McGuire titled What’s Stevie Thinking? (focused on Miranda’s younger sister) never progressed beyond the pilot stage in 2007. That same year, she was arrested and charged with felony possession of meth. Following court-ordered rehabilitation, the charge was removed from her record. Since then, she has been more noticeable on Instagram than either the big or small screen. However, a film titled Definition Please did release in 2020 for her.
Following 65 episodes as the cherished younger brother Matt on Lizzie McGuire, Jake Thomas continued his consistent acting career, featuring in Disney’s Cory In the House and later appearing as a guest star on shows like ER, House, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and S.W.A.T. He also collaborated with YouTuber Joey Graceffa in the web series Storytellers from 2013 to 2014.
In 2018, he completed his studies at Cal State University, Northridge, earning a degree in Screenwriting with a minor in Japanese Language. On his Instagram, he posts a blend of his personal photography and nostalgic images from his childhood acting days.
Following her debut leading role in the 2000 Disney Channel Original Movie “Rip Girls,” Camilla Belle had a short hiatus from acting, reappearing in the 2006 remake of “When a Stranger Calls” and the successful 2008 release “10,000 BC”.
In late-2008 to mid-2009, she was romantically linked with Joe Jonas, whom she met on set during the filming of the Jonas Brothers’ music video for “Lovebug.” This relationship led to a mention in Taylor Swift‘s song “Better Than Revenge.”
Since then, Belle has primarily worked in independent films, such as “Open Road,” “Diablo,” and the 2017 production starring James Franco, “The Mad Whale.” Lately, she’s been seen on shows like “Dollface” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime.
After wrapping up his tenure as Max Russo on “Wizards of Waverly Place” in 2012, Jake T. Austin swiftly landed a leading part on ABC Family’s show, later known as Freeform’s “The Fosters”. He portrayed Jesus Foster for the initial two seasons before leaving and being replaced by Noah Centineo. Following this, he participated in season 23 of “Dancing With the Stars”, becoming the first contestant to be eliminated. His voice was also featured in 2017’s “The Emoji Movie” and 2020’s “Adverse”, a thriller featuring Mickey Rourke. He is slated to return for the upcoming sequel of “Wizards”.
Since the show ended in 2012, David Henrie, who played Justin Russo, has taken a different path from his former castmates. He was not involved in the follow-up film “The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex”, but he did appear in movies like “Grown Ups 2” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”.
In April 2017, he married Maria Cahill, former Miss Delaware, and their daughter, Pia Francesca Philomena Henrie, was born on March 19, 2019. At around the same time, he announced that Maria was pregnant. However, a few days later, he was arrested at LAX for carrying a loaded gun in the airport. After admitting it was an unintentional act, he received two years of probation and had to complete 20 days of community service.
Now, with three children, David Henrie and Selena Gomez are collaborating as executive producers and stars in a new Disney+ series spin-off.
Following her role as Harper Finkle, Alex Russo’s BFF, in the series The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex, Jennifer Stone went on to act in a 2014 Lifetime thriller titled High School Possession and portrayed the Babysitter in Nickelodeon’s anthology series, Deadtime Stories.
In 2013, she was diagnosed with a form of diabetes known as latent autoimmune diabetes in adults, also called Type 1.5 diabetes. Her film, The In-Between, aimed to raise more awareness about this condition.
Can you believe it? I remember when Mia Talerico was just a baby, at the tender age of 10 months, she was cast as Charlie Duncan on Good Luck Charlie, which premiered in April 2010. Fast forward to 2014, and here she is! She’s landed a role on YouTube network Brat’s kids’ show Mani, playing Paige across 13 episodes. On top of that, she runs her very own YouTube channel where she delves into “unboxing” and toy reviews. And guess what? This young starlet is only 15 years old! Time really does fly when you’re having fun, doesn’t it?
After the conclusion of Good Luck Charlie, Teddy Duncan, Charlie’s second eldest sibling, shifted gears in 2015 when Bridgit Mendler joined the second season of NBC’s comedy Undateable. She played a significant role in two seasons of the show before it was canceled. Subsequently, she made appearances on Nashville and starred in Father of the Year on Netflix, as well as Merry Happy Whatever alongside Dennis Quaid and Ashley Tisdale for Netflix.
In addition to her acting career, Mendler has pursued academic interests, studying anthropology at USC. In May 2018, she announced that she had enrolled in a graduate program at MIT, followed by a January 2019 announcement that she was attending Harvard Law School. More recently, she disclosed that she and her engineer husband, Griffin Cleverly, adopted a 4-year-old son and launched Northwood Space, a tech startup aimed at constructing ground satellite stations to facilitate data transmission from space.
Since the final episode of the Cheetah Girls series aired in 2008, Raven-Symone and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton have continued to shine in acting roles and hosting gigs. However, Kiely Williams, a former member of Adrienne’s group 3LW, has followed a slightly different path.
Following her role in “The House Bunny” in 2008, Kiely secured parts in “Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale” (2010), “Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming”, and “Holla II” (both in 2013). She also tied the knot with Brandon “BJ” Cox in December 2016, with Sabrina Bryan serving as her bridesmaid. For a brief moment, she re-emerged into the spotlight in a 2017 episode of “Celebrity Family Feud”, participating on the Girl Group team alongside Sabrina.
Following the airing of “Cheetah Girls: One World” in 2008, Sabrina Bryan took on the role as a correspondent for TopMob News during the eighth season of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2009. This was three seasons after she had competed and was eliminated in sixth place. She revisited the ballroom for season 15 in 2012, participating as an All Star. Despite earning perfect scores, she was once more eliminated in sixth position, exactly five years after her initial elimination.
In addition to providing voice work for the Disney Channel animated series “Fish Hooks”, she launched a web series with Kiely Williams titled “Dinner With Friends” in 2011. She then married strategic accounts manager Jordan Lundberg on October 6, 2018, after nine years of dating. Now, she is reviving the nostalgia from the Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) with her iHeartPodcast “Magical Rewind” alongside Will Friedle.
Following his role in the beloved 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie “Smart House”, actor Ryan Merriman established a consistent presence on the network, featuring in “The Luck of the Irish” (2001) and “A Ring of Endless Light” (2002). Subsequently, he delved into more mature roles, starring in horror films such as “Halloween: Resurrection”, “The Ring Two”, and “Final Destination 3”. In 2010, Merriman joined the cast of “Pretty Little Liars” with a recurring role as Ian Thomas, appearing in 16 episodes until 2014. He also appeared in the supporting role for the 2013 Jackie Robinson biopic “42”. Currently, his career continues, but recent roles lean towards independent films.
In 2004, he married Micol Duncan, but they divorced in 2011. On New Year’s Day of 2012, he announced his engagement to Kristen McCullen. They were later wed in 2014.
From 1999 to 2004, Kirsten Storms was a familiar face on Disney Channel, appearing in the Zenon trilogy, Johnny Tsunami, and providing the voice for Kim Possible. However, even during this period, she had started transitioning towards an adult career. In 2000, she joined NBC’s Days of Our Lives for a four-year run that included 410 episodes.
After attempting to break into prime-time television with a role in the short-lived CBS baseball drama, Clubhouse in 2004, Storms returned to soap operas in 2005 as Maxie Jones on ABC’s General Hospital until 2023, where she appeared in over 1,100 episodes.
In 2011, Storms briefly ventured into reality TV, starring in the short-lived TopMob series Dirty Soap that focused on the personal lives of soap stars. In June 2013, she and her General Hospital co-star Brandon Barash secretly married and announced their pregnancy in August, welcoming their daughter Harper Rose Barash on January 7, 2014. Unfortunately, they filed for divorce in April 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
In the year 1998, Erik von Dette captured the hearts of many as the leading actor in one of the initial Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMs), titled “Brink!”. Following this success, he became a familiar face, providing voice-overs for “Recess”, playing John Bryant in “The Princess Diaries”, and starring on the Disney Channel’s supernatural series “So Weird” from 1999 to 2001. He also ventured into reality television, participating in the first celebrity edition of ABC’s “The Mole”. Additionally, he appeared in brief-lived shows such as “Dinotopia” and “Complete Savages”. His latest role was reprising his character Sid in “Toy Story 3”, a role he had originated in the Pixar franchise back in 1995.
Currently, Erik is employed in sales at a finance company and shares two children with his wife Angela.
After starring as Ricky Ullman in the TV show “Phil of the Future” from 2004 to 2006, Raviv shifted towards more mature roles, appearing on shows like “Big Love” and “House” (with his 2006 appearance being his first credited under his real name). This was followed by a series regular role in the Lifetime comedy “Rita Rocks” from 2008 to 2009. His more recent acting credits include an episode of “Broad City” in 2015 and a recurring role in the web series “Strangers” in 2018. From 2012 to 2018, he appeared in several stage shows and was the drummer for Zoe Kravitz’s band Lolawolf from 2013 to 2014.
In 2022, Raviv shared with TopMob News that he had just completed work in San Francisco where he directed an opera at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
In the year 1999, Kimberly J. Brown rose to fame when she played the young witch Marnie Piper in the popular DCOM “Halloweentown,” opposite the iconic Debbie Reynolds. The movie was a massive success, leading to three sequels. However, the network opted for an unusual move by recasting her in 2006’s “Return to Halloweentown,” choosing Sara Paxton instead. Unsurprisingly, the fourth film is often considered the least favored in the series.
Outside of the franchise, Brown has had a relatively limited acting career. Her notable roles include a part in the 2005 film “Be Cool” and several episodes on AMC’s short-lived “Low Winter Sun” in 2013. She also appeared in around 50 episodes of “Guiding Light” and 15 episodes of “General Hospital” in 2021.
After graduating with a business degree, she started her own Etsy shop called CraftilyCreative, where she sells various items, including Halloweentown-themed merchandise. In 2016, she and coauthor Diane Yslas published a Halloween-themed children’s book titled “Poppin’s Pumpkin Patch Parade.”
Disney enthusiasts were thrilled when she started dating “Halloweentown” costar Daniel Kountz, who proposed to her in 2022.
Between the years 2006 and 2011, Mitchel Musso played Oliver Oken, a close friend of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) on the show Hannah Montana. As the series began to wrap up, he was on an upward career trajectory within Disney, securing a leading role in the new series Pair of Kings and hosting PrankStars. However, his future with Disney took a turn when, at the age of 20, he was arrested on suspicion of DUI in October 2011. This incident led to him being written out of Pair of Kings and the cancellation of his prank show. Since then, he has worked on independent films and provided voiceovers for the Disney XD series Milo Murphy’s Law.
In 2023, Musso was arrested again, this time in Texas, for public intoxication and theft.
Although Jason Earles portrayed Miley’s older brother Jackson Stewart on “Hannah Montana” (initially cast as a high school student in season one), it is interesting to note that he was 29 years old when the show first aired and turned 34 by its conclusion. Following this, he took on the more age-suitable role of Rudy in Disney XD comedy “Kickin’ It” for four seasons until it ended in March 2015. Since 2018, Earles has been starring in the YouTube-based series “Hotel Du Loone,” and he also joined the cast of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” during its third season. In August 2017, Jason Earles tied the knot with his girlfriend Katie Drysen.
After playing younger character Cory Baxter on That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007, actor Kyle Massey went on to have his own spinoff series, Cory in the House, which aired until 2008. Subsequently, he made recurring appearances on The Electric Company, guest-starred on shows like Gotham and Being Mary Jane, lent his voice to animated series such as Fish Hooks, Mighty Magiswords, and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and participated in season 11 of Dancing With the Stars and a 2017 episode of Celebrity Family Feud opposite Jennie Garth.
Rumors swirled in 2018 that he would join the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings, but these proved to be baseless, with Kyle himself labeling them as “fake news.”
In 2021, Massey was charged with a felony for allegedly engaging in immoral communication with a minor. The actor’s lawyer stated at the time that Massey claimed the accusations were extortionate. The attorney added that Massey intended to vigorously defend these charges and would seek civil damages from those who failed to consider the facts. They also planned to seek an early dismissal of the case, aiming to put the extortion attempts to rest.
Following his stint as Twitty on Even Stevens from 2000 to 2003 and voicing Josh Mankey in several Kim Possible episodes, A.J. Trauth went on to make guest appearances in various TV shows like 7th Heaven, House, Ghost Whisperer, CSI, Bones, and many more up until 2012.
Since then, he’s been seen in a few independent films and has lent his voice to video games such as Wolfenstein: The New Order in 2014 and its sequel, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus in 2017. In February 2014, A.J. got engaged to actress Leah Pipes, whom he had been dating for nearly three years. They got married that December but eventually parted ways by 2019.
Following her three-year stint as the intelligent Ren Stevens on Even Stevens, her portrayal of Kim Possible, and sharing the screen with Hilary Duff in the 2002 DCOM Cadet Kelly, Christy Carlson Romano graced Broadway for a 31-week run in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 2004, playing Belle. She revisited the theater district in 2008, joining the cast of Avenue Q.
In 2007, she authored a novel titled Grace’s Turn, directed a film named Christmas All Over Again in 2016, earned a degree in Film Studies from Barnard College, and tied the knot with writer-producer Brendan Rooney on December 31, 2013. The couple welcomed two daughters, their youngest born in February 2019.
In 2019, she reappeared on the network that made her a household name with a role in the live-action Kim Possible film, playing the pop star Poppy Blu. In May 2019, she openly discussed the challenges she encountered after her years as the network’s leading lady in a heartfelt essay for Teen Vogue. “My reputation or the success of my young adulthood might suggest otherwise,” she admitted, “but I have never been perfect or pulled together. During a period of my life, I struggled with depression, alcohol, and other issues, seeking solutions to how I felt.
In 1999, Brandon Baker first appeared in a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), starring as Johnny Tsunami. Following this debut, his acting career was sporadic, featuring roles in shows like Even Stevens and more mature series such as Boston Public and The Unit, while he studied at UC Santa Barbara.
Seven years later, Baker reprised his role in the sequel, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board. Since then, he’s been seen in two independent films – The Formula, alongside Family Matters’ Reginald VelJohnson, and Up on the Wooftop, which starred Saved By the Bell’s Dennis Haskins as Santa Claus.
2001 saw me falling head over heels for Alana Austin’s performance in the DCOM “Motocrossed,” where she breathed life into Andrea “Andi” Carson, the teenager whose passion for motocross was barred yet found a way to race secretly as her twin brother after he got injured.
Post the movie’s release, she graced a few episodes of shows like “7th Heaven,” “Boston Public,” and “Cold Case.” However, by 2006, she decided to hang up her acting boots altogether. Rumors swirled that she was studying medicine at USC, but in April 2016, when a curious fan asked about her current pursuits on Twitter, she revealed she was delving into writing. Yet, she mentioned that acting remained “high up” in her heart.
Following her consistent appearance in the show Phil of the Future, Kay Panabaker became a frequent face on Disney Channel, gracing roles in DCOMs like Life is Ruff and Read It and Weep. Joining her older sister Danielle Panabaker, she also participated in the inaugural Disney Channel Games of 2006. Later, she moved on to mature roles, appearing in the 2009 remake of Fame and the 2011 ABC series No Ordinary Family. However, by 2012, she decided to step away from acting. Subsequently, she pursued a degree in zoology at UCLA, and by 2016, she was employed as an animal caretaker at none other than Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
