In Star Wars, the Jedi Order establishes its headquarters on the bustling city planet of Coruscant. It’s a necessary move, as Coruscant is where all the galaxy’s important figures reside, and the Jedi need to be present to influence events. While life on Coruscant has its perks – some Jedi, like Anakin Skywalker, even manage to create separate lives for themselves – their duties often take them away from the capital. Those in need of help are rarely the wealthy and powerful who live on Coruscant, and criminals tend to avoid attacking such a well-protected planet, instead targeting less influential worlds.
Jedi Knights can’t simply teleport across the galaxy – they need starships to travel, just like everyone else. But some starships are cooler than others. Here’s a ranking of the four best Jedi starfighters from the Star Wars universe.
4) Delta-7 Jedi Interceptor

After the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, the Jedi received new starfighters, including the Delta-7 Jedi Interceptor. While not as heavily armed as some other ships, the Delta-7 relied on the Jedi’s Force abilities to compensate. Its speed proved valuable in tight situations, like when Obi-Wan Kenobi used it to evade Jango Fett and track him to Kamino.
3) X-Wing

The Empire fears the sight of an X-Wing, a ship famous for destroying powerful weapons. While skilled pilots like Poe Dameron and his allies fly it well, the X-Wing truly shines with a Jedi at the controls. Even after the Empire fell and the Jedi Order was rebuilt, Luke Skywalker continued to pilot an X-Wing, appreciating its fantastic handling and overall quality.
2) Eta-2 Actis Jedi Interceptor

The Delta-7’s main weakness is its performance in combat. However, the Jedi switched to the Eta-2 Actis Jedi Interceptors before the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. In the opening scenes of the movie, Anakin, known as the Order’s top pilot, easily outmaneuvers the Separatists with this ship. Even more impressively, Obi-Wan also pilots the Actis and rarely voices any complaints during battle.
1) Jedi Vector

It’s too bad Anakin Skywalker wasn’t around during the High Republic era – the Jedi ships from that time are truly impressive. The Jedi Vector, in particular, is special because it uses a lightsaber to activate its weapons, preventing enemies from gaining access to dangerous technology. And that’s just one of its features! The Vector is also exceptionally fast and agile, able to outfly even the most powerful ships in the galaxy.
