The team at Neon Giant, known for creating The Ascent, announced they will reveal their next game at The Game Awards next week.
Okay, so the devs just dropped this super mysterious teaser on social media. It’s a picture of a graffiti-covered wall and the tagline ‘nothing is off limits.’ Honestly, it’s got me hyped! They’ve also confirmed we’ll find out what it’s all about on December 11th. I’m already trying to figure out what they’re planning!
Neon Giant, a Swedish developer, first gained recognition with the release of The Ascent in 2021. The isometric shooter later came to PS5 in 2022. In our review, we gave The Ascent a 7/10, describing it as a generally good, though occasionally repetitive, shooter. We praised its visually stunning environments and RPG elements, but noted some issues with repetitive missions and occasional bugs. Overall, we found it to be an enjoyable and action-packed experience.
Based on a recent preview, it appears Krafton will now be the publisher for Neon Giant’s upcoming game, taking over from Curve Digital. This is the same Krafton that has recently made a major investment in artificial intelligence.
