Ben Flajnik and Christina Flajnik have started the New Year in the rosiest way possible.
Ben Flajnik, who starred as the Bachelor in 2012, and his wife recently had a baby just before the new year, they announced.
The couple announced the birth of their son, Flajnik, on January 1st via Instagram, sharing that he arrived on December 22nd. They expressed that he has brought an incredible new depth of love into their lives and has forever changed them as a couple, now a family of three.
In a heartwarming photo, Ben and Christina gently hold their newborn baby’s feet in their hands, along with a caption.

Okay, seriously, when Ben posted about marrying his best friend, I lost it! He said it was the best day of his life, and you could just feel the emotion through the screen. He was talking about tears and laughter, and how completely present he felt with his partner – like nothing else mattered. Honestly, it was so sweet hearing him say how grateful he is to spend his life with them, and thanking them for always being there. I’m not crying, you’re crying! It just felt so real and perfect, I’ve been re-reading it constantly.
Over the years, the couple has occasionally shared news about their relationship, such as their planned trip to Paris in March 2025 and a second wedding in Slovenia in November 2024, which will celebrate their family history.
Ben shared on Instagram that he and his wife renewed their vows at Lake Bled in Slovenia, a place they both cherish. He described it as the most magical day of his life and explained that, as a Slovenian-American, it was meaningful for them to celebrate their love in a country they deeply admire. He ended with a sweet message to his wife.
Although Ben ultimately found lasting happiness after his relationship with Courtney Robertson ended – they were briefly engaged in 2012 after meeting on The Bachelor – he told TopMob News in 2022 that he still remembers his time on the show with positive feelings.
He described his past relationship with Courtney as something he’s moved on from. “We’re good now,” he said. “We worked things out years ago. We didn’t talk for a while, but my sister and Courtney still keep in touch.”
