Although The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinema Experience isn’t coming out for over four years, people are already incredibly excited about these films, which feature a fantastic cast.
We’re now getting our first look at Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn, and Barry Keoghan as the iconic band known as the Fab Four.
The first glimpse of the new films appeared thanks to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). They received special postcards advertising the films and have been hiding them around their campus, sharing photos of the hunt on Instagram.
Each postcard shows a photo of an actor dressed as their character, letting you know who they’re portraying. For example, a postcard featuring Paul Mescal simply states, “Paul Mescal is Paul McCartney.”
You can check them out on Lipa’s Instagram page right here.

Sam Mendes is directing four films, each telling the story from the viewpoint of a different member of The Beatles. All four movies are scheduled to be released on April 7th, 2028.
Dickinson will portray John Lennon, Quinn will play George Harrison, and Keoghan will take on the role of Ringo Starr.
I’m really excited about the cast they’ve assembled for this film! Saoirse Ronan is going to play Linda McCartney, and James Norton will be Brian Epstein. We’ll also see Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, Anna Sawai taking on the role of Yoko Ono, and Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd. Plus, Harry Lloyd is George Martin, and David Morrissey will be Jim McCartney – it’s a fantastic line-up!

The cast also includes Leanne Best as Mimi Smith, Bobby Schofield as Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffmann-Gill as Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill as Derek Taylor, and Adam Pally as Allen Klein.
Before starting work on the new Beatles films, the entire cast thoroughly researched the band’s history. Actress McKenna-Bruce recently shared that she personally wasn’t familiar with The Beatles at all before the project began.
While filming ‘Seven Dials’ with Martin Freeman, Agatha Christie quizzed me on the names of the Beatles, and I couldn’t remember them all, she said.
She’s expanded her musical horizons and now appreciates artists she previously knew little about. She recently discovered The Beatles and now loves their music, saying, ‘I’m realizing how good they are! It’s the kind of music I’d happily listen to while commuting.’
The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinema Experience is set to release as a quartet of movies in April 2028.
