Fans of the Halo series received exciting news last year with the announcement of a remake to the original Halo: Combat Evolved, promising a fresh look for this iconic game. While we wait for that release later this year, there’s more Halo on the way! The popular game Halo is bringing back the beloved Noble Team from Halo Reach, and we’re really looking forward to it.
With the remake of Halo: Combat Evolved still in development, fans should check out Halo: Flashpoint, which has successfully brought the fast-paced, strategic gameplay of Halo to tabletop gaming. Now, Mantic Games has announced a new expansion that lets players add the iconic Noble Team from Halo: Reach to their battles, creating even more exciting scenarios.

What’s Included in The Noble Team Expansion (And Why It Makes The Core Game Even Better)

The game Halo: Flashpoint already features a variety of characters to play as, and the Noble Team expansion adds even more popular choices while also improving the gameplay. This expansion introduces the members of Noble Team – Carter, Kat, Jun, Emile, Jorge, and Spartan B312 – allowing them to interact with the game world in ways that weren’t possible in the original game or other expansions.
Before, you could add different types of terrain to battles, and some terrain even had different setups. Now, with the Flashpoint update, we’re adding interactive scenery! You can now use two UNSC Man Cannons to launch your team across the battlefield.
Looking to add more to your gameplay? The Noble Team expansion introduces a new way to play with two-map games, complete with fresh rules and scenarios. You can create these larger games by combining two standard Flashpoint maps, or you can get the new, extra-large neoprene gaming mat for an even bigger playing area.

You’ll be impressed by the detail on the Noble Team miniatures, even before painting them. They’re made with Mantic Games’ high-quality MasterCraft Resin, which is usually reserved for special event figures. While the previous miniatures were good, these are exceptional, and look even better with a fresh coat of paint.

Okay, so I’ve been checking out Halo: Flashpoint, and it’s a tabletop miniatures game where you get to command Spartans, the Banished, ODSTs – basically all the cool Halo factions. It’s all about reacting to what your opponent is doing, grabbing the best spots on the battlefield, and using the terrain, weapons, and gadgets to your advantage. The best part? It’s easy to learn and the games move fast.
If you’re going to AdeptiCon this month, you might find a limited number of the new Noble Team expansion boxes available there. If you can’t get one at the event, pre-orders are now open and will be shipped in April.
Halo: Flashpoint and its Defiance, War Games, and Desperate Measures expansions are in stores now.
