The Big Quiz pitting Coronation Street vs Emmerdale gets confirmed release date on ITV1

ITV is bringing back a special quiz show where the stars of Coronation Street and Emmerdale will compete against each other, and this time, they say it’s going to be even more spectacular than before.

Get ready for another showdown! The popular quiz show pitting Coronation Street against Emmerdale is back this Christmas, and Stephen Mulhern will be hosting.

This year’s special episode will bring back two beloved characters from the show’s past, and also include a unique crossover event with the show Corriedale!

As a total soap opera fanatic, I’m already excited! Get ready for tons of laughs, bigger storylines with more characters involved, and of course, plenty of classic rivalry. It all kicks off on Monday, December 15th at 9pm, so mark your calendars – it’s on ITV1 and you can also stream it on ITVX.

Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt on Coronation Street, and Mark Charnock, known as Marlon Dingle from Emmerdale, will once again lead the teams this year.

They’ll compete with their fellow cast members to prove who knows the most about what’s happened on the shows this year, but which soap opera will come out on top?

There has been plenty of drama on both the cobbles of Weatherfield and the Yorkshire Dales.

Rob Donovan unexpectedly reappeared on Coronation Street and created a lot of trouble for his sister, Carla, driving a wedge between her and her girlfriend, Lisa. Meanwhile, Kevin Webster received a cancer diagnosis, leading to the arrival of his brother, Carl, who has since begun a romantic relationship with Abi.

New characters Mick and Lou arrived on the street, bringing surprising revelations about Kit’s history – and it made for a dramatic episode for viewers.

April Windsor’s disappearance caused a lot of worry in Emmerdale. While Marlon was relieved when she was found, viewers were deeply moved and saddened to see what she had been through while living on the streets.

John Sugden’s arrival has been a major turning point in Emmerdale this year, and his actions have tragically led to the deaths of several characters.

The popular quiz show, pitting Coronation Street fans against Emmerdale fans, is back on Monday, December 15th at 9pm. You can watch it on ITV1 and stream it on ITVX.
