The recently concluded Suikoden Live event unfortunately did not bring any exciting PlayStation-related news or announcements for series enthusiasts who were hoping for a potential remaster reveal.
During the majority of the 20-minute presentation, we focused on Suikoden Star Leap, the upcoming mobile title. Remaining segments were dedicated to Suikoden: The Anime, an animated series set to premiere in 2026.
Once more, I found myself engulfed in the swirl of anticipation about this broadcast, primarily fueled by Konami’s earlier announcement that it would span an impressive 1 hour and a half. However, the event’s duration remains somewhat unclear to me!

Due to the acclaimed success of the HD Remastered versions of Suikoden 1 & 2, fans are urging Konami to focus on remastering later games in the series. Titles like Suikoden 3 and 4, which many consider underappreciated PlayStation 2 RPGs, seem ripe for a remastering makeover.
Are you under the impression that there might be future projects related to a new console game called Suikoden? Feel free to share your thoughts and rally support in the comments section below.
