To mark the beginning of Gen V Season 2, Eric Kripke, the showrunner for *The Boys*, has revealed a rather explicit octopus-themed sex toy.
The second season of Gen V is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, with the first three episodes available now. This spin-off of ‘The Boys’ follows Marie Moreau (played by Jay Sinclair), Emma Meyer (Lizze Broadway), Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips), Jordan Li (London Thor and Derek Luh), Sam Riordan (Asa Germann), Polarity (Sean Patrick Thomas), and Dean Cipher (Hamish Linklater). The season is based on the comic storyline ‘We Gotta Go Now’ by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
What did The Boys’ Eric Kripke say about the octopus sex toy?
Kripke posted a video on Twitter showing off a new octopus-shaped sex toy. It will be sold at Adam & Eve starting October 8th, which is also World Octopus Day.
I’m so excited, today is the day Gen V finally premieres on Amazon Prime! Kripke announced it in a video, and he’s celebrating by doing a really unique unboxing. Apparently, he’s been wanting to make a sex toy based on The Boys for years, and adamandeve.com actually made it happen! He calls it Ambrosius, and it’s… an octopus. He joked about having your own ‘herogasm’ with it. It’s definitely a wild way to promote the show!
Ambrosius is a character in The Boys with Tilda Swinton providing the voice. She develops a romantic relationship with The Deep (played by Chace Crawford), but he tragically kills her in Season 4 after being unfaithful with Sister Sage.
Season 5 will be the last for the hit show *The Boys*, but we don’t know when it will be released yet. Besides the series *Gen V*, two more spin-offs are in the works: *Vought Rising* and *The Boys: Mexico*.
