The Boys’ Jack Quaid Confirms Marriage to Costar Claudia Doumit

Jack Quaid and Claudia Doumit are now lifelong companions. 

Following a private wedding ceremony held at Mona Farm in Australia this past April, one of the stars of The Boys has spoken about their wedding day.

“It happened,” Quaid said during a June 11 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “I’m so happy about it.”

The 34-year-old also shared insight into why they had their ceremony down under. 

Dennis Quaid and his wife, Claudia, who is Australian, had their wedding in Sydney, Australia. He jokingly said he believes they are the first costars to ever marry each other, calling it a ‘pioneering’ and ‘crazy’ event.

Quaid shared details about the wedding ceremony, including how they incorporated his wife’s Lebanese background into their entrance.

The reception was just starting as we entered the large tent. I hadn’t told any of the American guests beforehand, which confused them, but a man started playing a large drum and then we appeared. Immediately, Claudia’s Lebanese family – all of her relatives – stood up and lifted both of us onto their shoulders. It was an incredible moment.

The wedding reception featured a mechanical bull, and Quaid quipped that the lively atmosphere, fueled by the drumming, got guests energized very quickly – so much so that it was the main takeaway from the event.

As he put it, “We were begging people to sit down and eat dinner.”

The couple, who began dating in 2022, had a private wedding ceremony but invited a star-studded group of guests. Among those attending were Quaid’s parents, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, as well as Alec Baldwin, Kevin Costner, Tom Hanks, and Henry Golding.

On April 18th, Dennis Quaid wore a red suit jacket decorated with yellow flowers, paired with a white shirt, according to photos shared on Instagram and reported by news.com.au. His wife, Laura Doumit, chose a traditional ivory satin wedding dress, wearing her hair down with a headband.

The couple celebrated their marriage with a toast at Smokey Horse, an Australian restaurant serving Nepali cuisine.

Smokey Horse congratulated the newly married couple on Instagram, calling them a beautiful pair and wishing them all the best for the future! They shared photos of the happy couple with their friends.

Now that Doumit has left The Boys (in 2024), the couple prefers to keep their relationship private, though they’ve occasionally shared glimpses with fans.

Dennis Quaid shared a Valentine’s Day surprise he once arranged: he hired a mariachi band to play outside his apartment building. He told The New York Post that they played for about half an hour while his partner enjoyed the performance from the balcony, and it was a wonderful moment.

Even before announcing their relationship, they had already developed a close connection privately. Once filming of the comedy superhero series finished in 2021, Doumit publicly thanked Quaid among those who supported her throughout the process.
