Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and ARVORE are creating a virtual reality game called The Boys: Trigger Warning, based on the popular and award-winning TV show The Boys. The stealth action game is planned for release on PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest in 2026 and will cost $23.99.
From the very beginning, our goal was to create this adaptation with the people who originally created the world it’s based on,” explained Ricardo Justus, founder and head of studio at ARVORE, in a statement. “By collaborating with the show’s writers and actors, we were able to capture the series’ signature wit, intensity, and raw energy, and combine it with ARVORE’s unique creative touch.”
Lance Sloane, a senior VP at Sony Pictures Entertainment, said they’re excited to partner with ARVORE to create a virtual reality version of The Boys: Trigger Warning. He explained that working with the show’s creators will help them create a truly immersive experience, and they appreciate the support of Meta and PlayStation in bringing it to fans.

Here is an overview of the game, via Sony Pictures Virtual Reality:
As a huge fan of The Boys, I’m so excited they’re bringing the show’s world to life with a new VR game! It’s called The Boys: Trigger Warning, and it’s a stealth action game where you actually get to fight against the Supes – you’re right in the middle of the action!
Created alongside the team behind the popular show The Boys, Trigger Warning features characters from the series and introduces a brand new hero. This hero stumbles upon a shocking secret at Vought, turning a simple family day into a violent disaster. Now with powers of their own, the player teams up with The Boys to get revenge by going undercover at Vought, and they’ll do it with plenty of chaotic action. The VR game combines stealth and intense combat with the dark, signature humor fans expect, all within the familiar world of The Boys.
The Boys: Trigger Warning is a groundbreaking experience created by combining a popular entertainment franchise with the expertise of an award-winning VR studio. This collaboration between ARVORE and Sony Pictures VR seamlessly merges storytelling with interactive gameplay, offering a uniquely authentic adaptation that truly connects gaming, fan culture, and entertainment.
