The Celebrity Traitors final looms – but will Alan Carr and Cat Burns outwit the Faithfuls?

As Claudia Winkleman put it, the last 24 hours were a wild ride! The Faithful team finally discovered Jonathan was a Traitor, and then Celia Imrie was shockingly ‘murdered’ by Alan Carr, who dramatically recited Shakespeare while doing it.

Honestly, even trying to quickly summarize last week’s episode doesn’t do it justice. The show is a total nail-biter – I heard around 12 million people tuned in, and it’s easy to see why. The producers really pulled out all the stops to create some serious drama!

Alan Carr really isn’t afraid to shake things up! After shockingly eliminating his friend Paloma in the first week, he did it again last night, this time betraying Celia Imrie right at the dinner table with a seemingly friendly toast. Celia, who thought she adored Alan but had begun to distrust him, was swiftly voted out. Cat Burns couldn’t help but laugh, remarking that only Alan could pull off such a move!

The next morning arrived, and the team once again showed they were terrible at identifying the Traitors, but surprisingly good at completing the missions themselves. A boost of extra money for charity provided a brief positive moment before things turned tense back at the Round Table. A heated argument between David and Kate led to Kate being voted out – much to everyone’s surprise – leaving another Faithful player eliminated and plenty of shocked reactions.

Who will win?

Heading into next Thursday’s final episode, only five players remain: three are Faithful and two are Traitors. As David noted, it’s a nerve-wracking situation because half of the people he’s talking to could be secretly working against the group. Trust is completely broken.

Alan and Cat Burns have been doing surprisingly well so far, but it seems likely one of them will falter before the show ends. Alan, in particular, is starting to crack under pressure – he couldn’t even convincingly repeat the phrase “I am a Faithful” during a practice session. He managed to get by with his usual playful behavior, but it was his second noticeable mistake, after the time he forgot he was even holding a shield. Many people should have noticed that error, but strangely, only Joe Marler seems to remember it. Everyone else seems completely distracted.

Here’s another worrying sign for the Traitors: Joe is starting to suspect them. As proven by his successful mission to eliminate Jonathan ‘Top Dog’ Ross – a seasoned rugby player who focused on defense – Joe is relentless once he’s on a trail, and now his attention is fixed on Alan and Cat.
