In the initial phase of Bam Margera‘s celebrity as a skateboarding TV personality, the shows “Jackass” and “Viva la Bam” were what made him well-known. Among the wildly entertaining group from Dickhouse Productions, there was an abundance of stunts, pranks, and antics that fans still discuss today. However, this camaraderie seems to have ended following Margera’s departure from “Jackass Forever”; a situation he mentioned in his interview with TopMob, which appears to be permanent.

The Fallout From Jackass Forever Is Still Strong With Bam Margera
I recently had an enjoyable conversation with Bam Margera where we talked about his role as the “secret skater” in Activision’s fresh take on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4. The possibility of him reappearing in any of his popular MTV shows was a topic that seemed worth exploring, particularly given the success of revivals like “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
As a die-hard fan, I must confess that the media figure didn’t appear to be against resurrecting the daring stunts or pranks reminiscent of “Jackass.” However, a reunion with Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the original gang was strictly off limits, according to Margera. He shared his reasons behind this decision in our conversation, explaining:
These individuals treated me unfairly by compelling me to undergo treatment at my expense, excluding me from a movie, and even causing me to face legal issues. As a result, I refuse to participate in another Jackass project with them, as the harm they inflicted cannot be compensated for with any amount of money.
In past interviews, Margera’s apprehensions about the Jackass legacy have primarily revolved around his relationship with Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine. As previously stated, the main source of conflict between Margera and his former associates, which led to a dispute and subsequent legal resolution, was his claim of being pressured into a rehab program.
It appears that a revival or reunion of the Jackass series involving Bam Margera is highly unlikely, given the rapid escalation of tensions. Fortunately, the absence of Bam Margera from future Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 appearances isn’t due to any disagreements or arguments.

A Viva La Bam Revival Is Equally Unlikely, And I Agree With Bam Margera’s Reason Why
Despite the fact that some of the shocking stunts from the Jackass series are still admired by many, discussions also include clips from Bam Margera’s solo series. It is worth noting, however, that Viva la Bam will not be making a comeback. This can likely be attributed to growing older and gaining wisdom, as evidenced by Margera’s response regarding the hypothetical revival of the show.
That type of show has reached its natural end, and it feels like there’s no more to explore or enjoy. Moving back in with my parents, repainting the kitchen blue, and causing my mom distress – that was part of ending one chapter of life, and then starting another, with my own home, spouse, and child. If Viva la Bam were to come back, it would feel strange to move back with my parents again after a 15-year break, like I had taken a step backwards rather than forwards in life. It just wouldn’t feel right.
Right now, Bam Margera appears content as he resumes skateboarding with an aim of landing at least one trick daily. Meanwhile, his openness about his challenges – whether related to Jackass or otherwise – seems significant in supporting his path towards sobriety.
His mindset played a crucial role in bringing him back to the realm of video games and repairing his friendship with Tony Hawk. Perhaps this fresh routine will spark ideas for future projects, but at the moment, you can enjoy playing as Bam Margera in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4, a game that’s accessible on all major gaming platforms.
