A fan-favorite hero has a standout moment in the current DC Universe storyline. The biggest heroes and villains are battling for survival in an epic tournament that’s captivating readers. As Darkseid nears total control of time, DC’s iconic characters are competing to gain enough power to stop him. After two issues focusing on the main story, the DC K.O. series is now highlighting individual fights from the tournament’s second round.
As a huge fight fan, I’m loving what DC is doing with “All Fight Month”! It’s this awesome event where they show full fights that usually happen further down the line, and we’ve already seen some incredible battles – Superman vs. Captain Atom, Aquaman taking on Hawkman, you name it. Now, they’re pitting a character who used to be central to the DC movie universe in the ring, and the stakes are huge – a chance at unbelievable power! What’s really wild is they’re bringing out some seriously powerful armor, basically replacing an entire team of heroes just to make a statement. It’s clear they mean business!
Cyborg’s ‘Titanic’ Form Uses Every Titan’s Power in Battle

Titans #30, written by John Layman and illustrated by Pete Woods, features an intense battle between Swamp Thing and Cyborg. Despite their history as allies, both heroes are fighting with everything they’ve got because the stakes are high. The fight is brutal, and while Swamp Thing puts up a good fight, Cyborg wins the first round using fire, sound, and ultraviolet light. For the next round, both fighters get to choose a new form to battle in.
Cyborg, believing he can handle things alone, refuses to transform into a new form. Swamp Thing, however, changes his appearance to resemble his original human self, Alec Holland. This time, Swamp Thing’s powers are much stronger. He exploits Cyborg’s self-reliance, planting seeds of doubt. This hesitation gives Swamp Thing the opening he needs to defeat Cyborg with powerful digestive acids. With only one fight left, Swamp Thing’s words motivate Cyborg to choose an unusual new form for the final showdown.
Swamp Thing creates multiple copies of himself, trapping Cyborg and highlighting his apparent isolation. However, Cyborg transforms into a massive ‘Titanic’ form, demonstrating incredible power – a combination of abilities from all the Titans, including Starfire’s energy blasts, Raven’s magic, Arsenal’s arrows, and Nightwing’s fighting sticks. This transformation reminds Cyborg of the people he’s protecting and the Titans who support him, even in memory. Seeing that Cyborg has rediscovered his strength, Swamp Thing allows himself to be defeated, letting Cyborg move forward in the competition.
The Titanic Form isn’t Just Powerful, It’s a Tribute

It doesn’t really surprise me that Vic had this prepared. He’s incredibly skilled with technology, so it makes sense he’d want access to the powers and weapons of every Titan. It’s a little disappointing it didn’t include references to speedsters like Flash or water-based powers like Tempest – though it was only shown briefly. Ultimately, the real strength of this ‘Titanic’ form isn’t about what it can do, but what it represents to Cyborg.
Cyborg’s confidence turned into doubt when he realized he might have to face this challenge alone. However, like any true Titans fan knows, the team’s bond goes beyond just being together physically. While his powerful armor is impressive, it mostly serves as a reminder of the family he’s chosen. With that kind of support, he can accomplish more than he thinks and overcome any obstacle.
It’s uncertain if we’ll see Cyborg use the Titanic form again, though it would be great if he did – it’s a powerful concept with a lot of story possibilities. The important thing is that Cyborg didn’t create this form to replace his friends, but to keep their memory alive. To grow stronger, Cyborg may unfortunately have to sacrifice more allies, but having the Titanic form reminds him that his closest friends are always with him in spirit.
