The Division: Definitive Edition is now available on the PlayStation Store for £44.99 / $49.99, but Ubisoft hasn’t made any official announcement or promoted the release. It seems the publisher isn’t generating much hype around this version of the game.
As many predicted, this new Definitive Edition is only available on PS4. It isn’t a PS5 version with improved graphics. Instead, it’s a complete package that includes the original game, all three downloadable expansions, and some bonus cosmetic items.
The Division Gold Edition has been around on PlayStation 4 for a while, and this new version just adds a few extra outfits and in-game items to the original.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited about this! It comes with all three season pass expansions, which means tons of new missions, challenges, and ways to take back New York. Plus, they’re including a bunch of cool gear, weapon skins, and customization options so you can really build your perfect agent and look awesome while doing it!
The original PS4 game is available to play with a PS Plus Extra subscription. If you’re playing on PS5, you’ll get a slightly improved experience thanks to backwards compatibility. An update in December improved the game to run at a smoother 60 frames per second.
