The Fallout crossover in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 looks so good it’s going to make me break my rule on buying cosmetics this year

Great news! We already heard about a Fallout collaboration coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, and now we have all the details.

With the major update almost here, Activision dropped a preview trailer. And it’s more than just new character outfits! While new outfits *are* included, they usually aren’t available for free.

The collaboration will be a major event, featuring a dedicated event pass and unique, temporary game modes available in both Black Ops 7 and Warzone.

We’re getting some new content, including Lucy, The Ghoul, and Maximus operator skins, plus a Fallout-themed Tracer Pack with customized weapons.

The trailer gives us our first glimpse of the Nuketown map, now reimagined with a Vault-Tec theme. It’s a fantastic pairing – you really couldn’t ask for a better combination!

Special, temporary game modes are heading to Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. In Warzone specifically, players will soon be able to use Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor while playing on the Verdansk map.

The Zombies limited-time mode will likely include a battle against a Deathclaw, which should be exciting for some players. For Multiplayer, the limited-time mode appears to be a Ghoul-themed version of the popular Infected game type we’ve played before.

Even better, this information comes just before the launch of Season 01 Reloaded tomorrow, January 8th. That means we’ll have new and, hopefully, really enjoyable content available right away!

The crossover events and event passes in last year’s Black Ops 6 weren’t particularly exciting, but the first event for Black Ops 7 seems much more promising. It’s launching right after the holiday events, giving players something new to enjoy while they wait for Season 02 in February.

I know this, though. The Ghoul is probably my operator skin for the rest of the year.
