The Fosters’ Cierra Ramirez and Musician OTHRSYDE Are Married

Cierra Ramirez‘s latest milestone is all good and no trouble.

The former *Fosters* star married *OTHERSYDE* on September 13th in San Diego, California, after dating for six years. She called the wedding “a dream come true.”

Cierra shared that when she got engaged, someone told her to ‘savor every moment’ because wedding days go by incredibly quickly. She told *People* magazine that she wanted to fully enjoy the experience, so she and her partner planned a weekend-long celebration with all of their loved ones.

Jonathan Gonzalez, known as the actor and musician from *Good Trouble*, and Cierra celebrated their wedding with 160 guests. Cierra’s *Fosters* co-stars Sherri Saum, Teri Polo, and Maia Mitchell were also in attendance.

On September 11th, the couple-engaged in Houston, Texas, in September 2023-began their wedding festivities with a small, private rehearsal dinner for close family and their wedding party. The following day, guests arrived and were offered drinks.

It was such a beautiful sight on Saturday when Cierra walked down the aisle. Losing her dad, Sonny Ramirez, to Covid in 2020 was incredibly hard, but she looked radiant in her gown. Her uncle Rudy walked her down the aisle to OTHERSYDE, 29, and the whole weekend ended with a fantastic reception – lots of cake, great music, and everyone was dancing! It was a truly special celebration.

Before Cierra, 30, and OTHERSYDE, 29, got married, Cierra shared details about their romantic proposal. OTHERSYDE proposed with an emerald-cut diamond ring while they were in a field decorated with white candles and roses.

She excitedly announced her engagement on Instagram in September 2023, sharing, “I said YES!” She explained that she had always wished for a love like hers and that the proposal – which happened in her hometown surrounded by loved ones – was even more perfect than she could have imagined. She described her fiancé as incredibly thoughtful and playfully added that she looked forward to playfully annoying him forever, declaring herself the luckiest girl in the world.

For OTHERSYDE’s part, he expressed gratitude for their loved ones’ help with the proposal.

He shared on Instagram that the weekend was incredible and expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make it special, as well as those who sent well wishes. He also said he still can’t believe he’s engaged to the woman he loves.
