Gore and horror often go together, but a recent horror movie reboot is exceptionally intense. In September, Tubi added several new titles to its streaming service, including a remarkably brutal horror film just before Halloween. However, Tubi viewers should be warned – this reboot of a popular horror series may be too much for some to handle. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart!
Starting September 1st, you can now stream Evil Dead (2013) on Tubi. This movie is the fourth in the Evil Dead series, which began with Sam Raimi’s 1981 film of the same name, and continues the story without focusing on the character Ash. The plot follows Mia and her friends as they head to a secluded cabin in the woods. Their trip quickly turns frightening when Mia becomes possessed by an evil force after a strange Book of the Dead unleashes an ancient demon. The film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and Elizabeth Blackmore.
Why You Should Watch Evil Dead
Despite receiving a 64
This movie is incredibly gruesome – they used over 70,000 gallons of fake blood! While it’s missing some of the silly humor that made the original so fun, and it might not appeal to all viewers, Evil Dead definitely works as a scary movie. It’s a self-contained story, so you don’t need to have seen any other films in the series to enjoy it. The film delivers non-stop, terrifying horror with impressive practical effects and builds a genuinely creepy atmosphere, all while adding to the overall story of the franchise.
Other Horror Movies Now on Tubi
If you’re a fan of horror, now is the perfect time to check out Tubi! The free streaming service recently added a bunch of popular movies to its horror selection on September 1st. Some of the titles now available include Drag Me To Hell, Halloween (2018), I Know What You Did Last Summer, Paranormal Activity, Poltergeist (2015), Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, and The Cabin In The Woods.
I’m so excited! Tubi is adding even more terrifying movies in October! They’re kicking things off on October 1st with a huge drop of horror, including 30 Days Of Night, 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days, An American Werewolf In London, The Grudge (2019), Grind House: Death Proof, The Hills Have Eyes, Insidious: The Last Key, Jennifer’s Body, and The Ring . But that’s not all! Later in the month, they’re adding even more chills with movies like Don’t Breathe and Don’t Turn Out The Lights.
