The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy officially a ‘1&2 Pack’

Aniplex, along with developers Too Kyo Games and Media.Vision, have confirmed that The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is essentially two games combined. The first game covers your initial 100 days at school, and The Hundred Line 2 continues the story with the following 100 days. Although this two-part structure has always been present, the companies are now officially presenting it as a single package containing both games – the original and its sequel.

To celebrate the announcement, Too Kyo Games released new artwork by artist Rui Komatsuzaki.

A limited physical version of the game for Nintendo Switch, with unique artwork and a special slipcase, will be sold only through Aniplex Online Store and Amazon Japan.

Okay, so the next update is awesome! It lets me jump into The Hundred Line 2 even if I haven’t finished The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, which is great. And get this – starting the sequel unlocks a ‘Chapter Select’ feature. Basically, I can replay any date or jump around the story to explore different choices and endings. With 100 different endings in the game, I’m definitely going to try and see them all!

Aniplex announced that the soundtrack for The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy will be released on streaming services on January 17th. It will feature 112 tracks. A special physical “Director’s Edition” with 88 tracks, personally selected by composer Masafumi Takada and including songs not available digitally, will be released in Japan on April 24th.

Too Kyo Games will share more details about The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy on January 16th at 1:00 AM Pacific Time, 4:00 AM Eastern Time, or 6:00 PM in Japan. A recent announcement hints at a special event happening 100 days from now.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is available now for Switch and PC via Steam.
