Ameer

Age: 28

Job: Welsh language campaigner

Location: South Wales

Ameer is a 28-year-old from Wales who is enthusiastic about the Welsh language and culture. For the last seven years, he’s been working with schools throughout Wales to encourage bilingualism and help students explore careers in media and other fields.

He described himself as a bit of a character – unique, playful, but also quite private. He loves enjoying life’s luxuries, like nice cars, good food, and movies, so he admitted being dropped into the wilderness with minimal supplies would be a real challenge. However, he’s looking forward to seeing how he handles it.

I’m really excited Ameer is joining the series! He’s always pushing himself to try new things and loves the challenge of being in unfamiliar situations – it’s something I really admire about him.

I’ve always followed my gut, carefully considered risks, and seized opportunities. Each challenge I’ve faced has made me who I am today, and this felt like the ideal way to test my ability to adapt to something completely new. I’m confident in my skills, and I want to prove that to both myself and others.

Charlotte

Age: 27

Job: Full-time mum

Location: Cambridgeshire

Charlotte is a dedicated mother, but she also served in the military. She’s entering the competition to show everyone she’s more than just a typical stay-at-home mom from Lincolnshire.

She described herself as someone who connects well with others. Her time in the RAF taught her how to quickly build rapport with people in various environments, and she’s always enjoyed being a team player and fitting in.

She signed up for the show mainly to gain experience and challenge herself, but she also wouldn’t mind winning the prize money!

Chloe

Age: 27

Job: Logistics co-ordinator

Location: Essex

Chloe is currently a logistics coordinator, but she spent seven years as a bus driver before that. Her time driving buses helped her develop a strong sense of direction.

Chloe described herself as cheerful and outgoing, someone who enjoys making others smile. She doesn’t worry too much and believes she’ll add a lot of energy and fun to the competition.

Chloe is a competitive person who always tries her best to win when playing games, but she handles losing with grace.

“I will just play again until I finally win,” she added.

Chris

Age: 31

Job: Marketing director

Location: London

Chris, age 31, has spent the last decade building a career in marketing. He’s bringing a wealth of experience and diverse skills to this new opportunity.

He said his strengths were mainly in leading and negotiating. He’s good at persuading others to see things his way, but admits he doesn’t always excel at following directions.

Chris joined The Hunt because he wanted a shot at the £100,000 prize – it seemed like a fantastic opportunity.

He explained that this was a rare chance to experience a fantastic game and adventure, and he was definitely taking it.

Marc

Age: 34

Job: Prison officer

Location: Sunderland

Marc is a 34-year-old who works as a prison officer, but viewers might be surprised to see a different side of his personality when they watch.

As a prison officer, I always have to be honest and straightforward – I need to be seen as the one doing the right thing.

As a huge fan of immersive experiences, I’m really excited to explore a different kind of character in this game – someone a little more mischievous, even devious. Honestly, I’m looking forward to not being the hero for once! I want to fully dive in and experience everything the game has to offer, push it to its absolute limits, and get the most out of it possible. It’s all about maximizing that experience for me.

I’m really fascinated watching Marc in this role. It’s a huge departure for him – he typically plays it safe, but this part feels like a genuine test, and he’s really throwing himself into it. It’s exciting to see him step outside his comfort zone.

He acknowledged that being autistic would present challenges, but he was determined to persevere. He also shared that his son is autistic, and he wished there had been an autistic role model for him growing up.

I was confused by what I heard, and I definitely don’t want my son to feel limited by his autism. I’m hoping that by taking action, I can show him he’s capable of achieving his goals, too.

He has a unique perspective on things. I used to think that would hold him back, but he’s perfectly capable of doing this, and I realize that now.

Mel

Age: 35

Job: School attendance officer

Location: London

Mel is an attendance officer at a college and is planning to bring a competitive edge to the game.

I’m a really competitive person. When I play games with my friends, I get really into it and can be the most vocal one there. I always joke that if you’re not trying to win, what’s the point of playing?

She signed up for The Hunt to recharge both mentally and physically, explaining that the competition immediately appealed to her. She said, “It just felt like something I’d really enjoy.”

Mia

Age: 22

Job: Beauty and lifestyle influencer

Location: Leeds

Mia, a 22-year-old influencer, is known for being authentically herself and spreading positivity. She’s excited to bring enthusiasm and encouragement to everything she does.

She entered The Hunt both to prove that women are capable of anything and to escape the stresses of daily life.

“I want to challenge myself, challenge my strength and resilience.”

Nathan

Age: 33

Job: Dentist

Location: Bolton

Nathan is a 33-year-old dentist who wants to show people he’s more interesting than they might expect.

He shared that he’s a veteran with a large family – six children and a grandson. He and his wife own and operate a casting agency alongside two drama schools, so his life is quite full. Describing himself as a down-to-earth guy from northern England, he simply said he’s looking to have some fun.

I recently learned the incredibly personal reason behind Nathan’s decision to compete on The Hunt. He wasn’t after the prize money, or even the thrill of the chase – he wanted to prove something to himself. Living with functional neurological disorder, or FND, means he deals with seizures and weakness, primarily on his left side. It’s a truly inspiring story of someone pushing their limits and reclaiming agency over their body.

Nathan sees The Hunt as a way to test his physical limits and see if he can still enjoy running through the woods.

Roy

Age: 50

Job: Environmental attendance officer

Location: Tyrone, Northern Ireland

Roy jokingly describes himself as being fifty years old in age but still feeling like a ten-year-old at heart, playfully suggesting he never fully grew up.

I’ve spent almost my whole life living and working in Northern Ireland, and I’m a father. My family is wonderful, and this might be a bit of a midlife adventure, but it seems like a lot of fun! I have a strong understanding of how games work and effective strategies, and I’m excited to bring that knowledge to the game.

I’ve worked as a forester my entire life, so I’m very comfortable being outdoors in wooded areas. That experience might give me an edge.

Roy enjoys playing strategy-based social games and always dreamed of participating in a real-life version, so he applied for The Hunt!

Shelley

Age: 70

Job: Retired model

Location: London

Shelley, a 70-year-old former model, has had a full and interesting life. In addition to modeling, she’s also worked as an actress, dancer, and business owner.

She described herself as a good friend, someone who is supportive and resilient, explaining that she’s become strong through overcoming difficult experiences.

I feel good and bring a positive attitude to every game. While I’m in decent shape, I plan to rely more on my personality and ability to connect with people.
