Vex’ahlia and Percival de Rolo, characters from The Legend of Vox Machina, have been through a lot. They’ve battled powerful enemies like the Briarwoods, Dr. Anna Ripley, the demon Orthax, and the dangerous Chroma Conclave, facing constant challenges along the way.
A year after defeating the mighty dragons, the characters voiced by Laura Bailey and Taliesin Jaffe appear to have embraced a peaceful, domestic life. In season 4, they’ve become the Lord and Lady of Whitestone.
After everything they’ve been through, I’m really hoping my favorite couple can finally catch a break in the fourth season! They deserve some peace and quiet after all the hardship and danger they’ve faced.
In a conversation with TopMob, Bailey shared their delight in witnessing the more relaxed, private side of the group, and especially appreciated seeing Percy at peace for a change.
Jaffe also mentioned that playing Vex as a powerful, dignified character was particularly enjoyable. He was especially excited to see her subtly take revenge on her father constantly, day after day.
Things aren’t exactly smooth sailing for Vex and Percy despite their new noble status and fancy parties. It seems new difficulties are arising, and Bailey hints that Percy will soon be dealing with a different kind of problem.

The introduction of beloved character Taryon Darrington, voiced by Wayne Brady, creates even more disruption in their previously calm relationships.
He explained to TopMob how Percy’s story with the artificer began: “It all started with Percy truly hating this person, who he saw as a terrible example of everything wrong with spoiled, wealthy kids.”
He explained that Percy has become more self-assured and intelligent now that someone finally understands his ideas. This connection has ultimately allowed the characters to grow and achieve more.
He shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming projects, hinting at amazing inventions, clever gadgets, and the innovative ways the heroes will outsmart the villains.
The first three episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 are now streaming on Prime Video. You can also watch seasons 1 through 3 on Prime Video, and new subscribers can start with a free 30-day trial.
