The popular mystery series, The Marlow Murder Club, is coming back for a third season on U and U&Drama. And now, the show has announced even more well-known actors who will be making guest appearances.
The upcoming series will present three thrilling murder mysteries, each unfolding over six episodes. The stories are written by both familiar and new writers.
Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, Cara Horgan, and Natalie Dew are returning to their roles, and the show will also feature several guest stars, including actors you may recognize from popular series like EastEnders, Doctor Who, and Happy Valley.
The first two episodes were written by Daniel Rusteau and Robert Thorogood, and feature a talented cast including Nigel Harman (known from EastEnders), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), Jacqueline Boatswain (After the Flood), Sarah Alexander (Art Detectives), Tony Gardner (Last Tango in Halifax), and Jason Merrells (Happy Valley).

Episodes three and four are written by Amy Reith and will include a guest appearance by comedy star Harry Enfield, known for his role as Miss Marple in ‘The Moving Finger’. The last two episodes, written by Julia Gilbert, will feature Cherie Lunghi (from ‘Strike’), Adrian Lukis (known for ‘SAS Rogue Heroes’), and Alastair Mackenzie (‘The Crown’).
In Season 3, Judith, Suzie, and Becks join DI Tanika Malik’s newly formed crime-solving team, using their unique approaches to investigate a series of high-profile murders.

The new season kicks off with a series of puzzling deaths in the seemingly peaceful town of Marlow. First, the well-loved mayor dies unexpectedly, and then a famous chef is found dead during a public book launch. As the team investigates, the whole town is watching their every move. They’ll also find themselves at a spooky university reunion held in an old manor house, where Becks unexpectedly becomes a suspect. Will these cases put the team’s positions as volunteer detectives in jeopardy?
Earlier this year, UKTV announced a third season of the show. Claire Hookway, a commissioning executive at UKTV, said they were excited to bring back Judith, Suzie, Becks, and the police team for another series, featuring three brand new mysteries to investigate, following the popularity of the first two seasons.
We’re thrilled to bring even more fun and excitement to Marlow, and we have plenty of surprises and unexpected moments planned for everyone.
I’m so excited! The Marlow Murder Club is coming back to U and U&DRAMA in 2026! And the best part? You can watch all the old episodes right now on U – totally free!
