The Marlow Murder Club season 3 release date finally confirmed for U&Drama with extra treat for fans

With the current season of Death in Paradise nearing its end, the premiere date for season three of another show by the same creator has been announced.

Fans of The Marlow Murder Club will be happy to know the show is coming back for a third season! It will premiere on U&Drama on Wednesday, March 18th at 8pm, and there’s even more good news for viewers.

The second part of this week’s mystery will air immediately after the first episode, starting at 9pm.

Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, Cara Horgan, and Natalie Dew are all returning for the new series, and they’ll be joined by a variety of guest actors throughout the six episodes.

The cast includes well-known actors like Nigel Harman from EastEnders, Peter Davison of Doctor Who, Jacqueline Boatswain (After the Flood), Sarah Alexander (Art Detectives), Tony Gardner (Last Tango in Halifax), Jason Merrells (Happy Valley), Harry Enfield (Here We Go), Cherie Lunghi (Strike), Adrian Lukis (SAS Rogue Heroes), and Alastair Mackenzie (The Crown).

Hugh Quarshie is returning as Professor Darius Gifford, who might become a romantic interest for Judith Potts, Bond’s colleague.

Okay, so I’m really excited for season 3! It looks like Judith, Suzie, and Becks – you know, the awesome amateur detectives – are officially part of DI Malik’s team now. They’ve been promoted, so to speak! And they’re tackling a bunch of really big murder cases, using their… let’s say unique approach to solving crimes. I can’t wait to see what happens!

The team faces a challenging situation in Marlow, where they’ll be investigating two high-profile deaths: the unexpectedly passing of the town’s well-loved mayor, and a celebrity chef who died during his own book launch, an event attended by many locals. The whole community will be closely watching their work.

The team will also be drawn into a case at their university reunion, held in a spooky old manor house. Unexpectedly, Becks becomes a suspect! Will this mystery put their positions as volunteer advisors in jeopardy?
