The Masked Singer: Iconic TV Judge & Celebrity Offspring Eliminated

It’s time to say goodbye to not one, but two The Masked Singer season 14 contestants.

Both Stingray and 14 Karat Carrot were eliminated during a double elimination on the March 18th episode of the Fox singing competition show.

Okay, so the first one eliminated was 14 Karat Carrot! Can you believe it? He sang “Shining Star” by Earth, Wind & Fire for Star Strek Night, which was AMAZING, but sadly he ended up in the bottom two. It was so shocking when he was unmasked and it turned out to be Judge Greg Mathis! I mean, seriously, Judge Mathis?! I was floored! It was a total surprise.

Robin Thicke was the sole judge to figure out who the celebrity was, thanks to a few hints from the performer – who is 65 years old – including scales of justice stitched onto their costume’s small backpack.

After Carrot hinted to fans that it was funny to be judged when he usually does the judging, Robin Thicke became convinced that the former star of Family Matters was inside the golden carrot costume.

Mathis wasn’t the only performer eliminated. Stingray’s performance of The Weeknd’s “Starboy” wasn’t strong enough to keep him in the competition, so he was also sent home.

The person in the underwater costume was revealed to be Evan Ross, the son of music icon Diana Ross, known as the “Queen of Motown.”

With a few useful clues – one of which was a sparkly glove that looked like something Michael Jackson might wear – the investigators were able to focus their efforts in the right area.

Oh my gosh, Ross said the sweetest thing! He hinted he grew up around incredible people, and then he talked about Michael! He said Michael always made him feel like everything was magic. It’s just… everything about that quote gets me! Like, Michael clearly had such a huge impact on him, making him see the wonder in life. I can’t even! It’s the most beautiful thing ever.

In an unusual turn of events, all four judges unanimously guessed the masked performer was the 37-year-old celebrity.

Everyone was surprised by the reveal, especially since Kelly Osbourne, a guest judge on season 14, had previously been very confident that Galaxy Girl was actually Ashlee Simpson. If Osbourne was right, it would mean Ross and Simpson were both on the show – as husband and wife!

But only time will tell if Osbourne’s guess is correct as Galaxy Girl has yet to be unmasked.

Baseball star David Ortiz, known as “Big Papi,” was unmasked as the tallest contestant on the season 14 premiere of The Masked Singer and was eliminated from the competition.

Kylie Cantrall, known for her role in Descendants, was secretly the performer under the Cat Witch mask. She shared a behind-the-scenes look with fans without the judges realizing it was her.

During the premiere episode, the costumed performers known as The Croissants were revealed to be reality TV stars Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley.

The performer who had the audience roaring with laughter was revealed to be comedian Tiffany Haddish, and she was unfortunately eliminated during the second week of the competition.

That signature voice could only belong to one man: “Funky Cold Medina” rapper Tone Loc.

Everyone was stunned when the performer dressed as the Scarab took their final bow and was unmasked as Taraji P. Henson, the acclaimed actress from Empire and an Oscar nominee.

Everyone was shocked when Queen Corgi unexpectedly left the competition just before the final reveal, and was unmasked as comedian and podcast host Claudia Oshry.

The contestant known as Calla Lily revealed herself to be Teddi Mellencamp, a former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She shared that she was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors in 2025, making for an emotional exit.

Okay, so the reveal on the show was a real surprise! It turns out ‘The Owl’ was none other than Billy Ray Cyrus, and honestly, you could feel his disappointment when he was unmasked. He was clearly bummed to be going home – a total ‘achy breaky heart’ moment, if you will! It’s always tough seeing a performer so visibly affected by elimination, and it really reminded us all just how much this competition means to them.

As a longtime observer of pop culture, let me tell you, the atmosphere was electric on the latest show! It was genuinely moving to watch Heidi Montag revealed as Snow Cone during the elimination – you could really feel the emotion of the moment. It was a big reveal, and definitely a highlight for me!

The man behind the aubergine was none other than Melrose Place alum Jack Wagner.

Despite a wildly creative costume featuring a soccer ball for a head, the judges on the show didn’t realize that former L.A. Galaxy player Alexi Lalas was the person inside the High Voltage outfit.

TV Judge Greg Mathis was unmasked as the Golden Veggie on the show, and he was eliminated in a double elimination during Star Trek night on March 18th.

Also sent packing week 10 was Diana Ross‘ son Evan Ross.
