This fan art showcases an ideal team roster for the Midnight Sons, a supernatural superhero group within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the Avengers haven’t been seen since *Avengers: Endgame*, Marvel Studios has hinted at the creation of new teams, and the Midnight Sons are one of them. Known as one of Marvel’s more mysterious groups, the Midnight Sons tackle supernatural threats and feature a collection of incredibly powerful and unique characters, several of whom have recently appeared in MCU projects.
The MCU is hinting at the formation of the Midnight Sons, a team of supernatural heroes, but the final roster is still unknown. A recent fan-made artwork shared on Instagram by @70.6ix imagines a powerful line-up including Doctor Strange, Blade, Werewolf by Night, Elsa Bloodstone, the Punisher, and Ghost Rider. While this would be an exciting team, other supernatural characters could also potentially join the group.
Who Could Join the MCU’s Midnight Sons Team?
The Midnight Sons, a team of Marvel heroes, first appeared together in 1992’s *Ghost Rider (Vol. 3) #31*. The team was brought together by two Ghost Riders, Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch. The original lineup included nine members: the two Ghost Riders, along with Morbius, Blade, Hannibal King, Frank Drake, and three members known as the Darkhold Redeemers: Sam Buchanan, Louise Hastings, and Victoria Montesi. Because many of these characters haven’t appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet, Marvel Studios is expected to create a new version of the Midnight Sons.
Bringing the Midnight Sons to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be a great move, and Doctor Strange or Wong would be natural leaders for the team. They could gather existing MCU characters like Blade, Wolverine, Elsa Bloodstone, Iron Fist, Moon Knight, and the Scarlet Witch, along with others from the comics. Adding heroes like the Black Knight, the Punisher, and Wiccan would create a really compelling and dynamic team – potentially one of the most exciting we’ve seen in the MCU yet.
Whether the Midnight Sons will ever show up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still uncertain. But if they do, it would be exciting to see this group of incredibly powerful, mystical, and supernatural heroes team up. With villains like Mephisto and Nicholas Scratch already introduced, the stage is set for a great conflict, and fans are eager to see the Midnight Sons make their official debut.
