As a huge Marvel fan, I was really excited to see the Eternals finally brought to life on screen! The movie *Eternals* attempted a lot, resulting in a story that felt hurried and didn’t fully develop its characters or ideas. However, this was largely because director Chloé Zhao and Marvel Studios were ambitiously trying to build a much larger world, showcasing events from 7,000 years of Marvel history and delving into the origins and roles of the powerful Celestials. *Eternals* essentially created a mythology for Marvel, weaving these new heroes into the fabric of the entire MCU, potentially opening doors for appearances in future films and shows. It’s disappointing, then, that Marvel seems to have sidelined them instead.
