As a die-hard film fan, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of this innovative concept poster, unveiling the long-awaited supernatural team that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been missing for quite some time. It feels like ages since we last saw a dynamic team of superheroes on our screens. Recently, the New Avengers, Sam Wilson’s Avengers, and the Fantastic Four have graced us with their presence, but there are still teams I yearn to see in live-action. Marvel Studios has already introduced several potential members of these upcoming teams within the MCU, making it a tantalizing prospect for fans like me!
Six potential team members, including Doctor Strange, Werewolf by Night, Elsa Bloodstone, Blade (who hasn’t appeared on screen yet), Morbius (from the 2022 movie criticized by many), and Ghost Rider (rumored to join soon), are shown together in a new poster shared on Instagram by Lyle Cruse. This suggests a possible lineup for the Midnight Sons team in the MCU, but there could be more members not included in this particular poster.
Who Could Be Included in the MCU’s Midnight Sons Team?

In the Marvel Comics universe, Ghost Rider, Blade, and Morbius are often part of the Midnight Sons team, making it likely that Marvel Studios might introduce or reintroduce these characters before the team’s MCU debut. Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch since 2016 in films like “Doctor Strange,” has been setting himself up nicely to lead this team due to his mastery of mystic arts. This could make for an intriguing narrative for Doctor Strange after dealing with incursions and Doctor Doom during the MCU’s Phase 6, perhaps even in a potential third “Doctor Strange” movie that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
In 2022’s “Werewolf by Night” Special Presentation, characters Jack Russell (portrayed by Gael García Bernal) and Elsa Bloodstone (played by Laura Donnelly) made their first appearances. It would be thrilling to witness their potential return as part of the Midnight Sons, a team from Marvel Comics. This ensemble might expand to include characters who have previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Notable additions could be Parker Robbins’ Hood from “Ironheart”, Danny Rand’s Iron Fist from the Defenders Saga, Jennifer Kale from “Agatha All Along”, Marc Spector from “Moon Knight”, Man-Thing, who also appeared in “Werewolf by Night”, and even characters like Scarlet Witch and Wong.
It’s been rumored that Marvel Studios could soon introduce Ghost Rider as the head of the Midnight Sons. The character played by Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto in Ironheart might have paved the way for this. So, it seems likely that we could see both Ghost Rider’s debut and the assembly of the Midnight Sons happening quite soon. This means we might not have to wait much longer for something similar to this thrilling concept poster to become a reality in the MCU, which is certainly exciting news!
