Ahead of his return in 2026, the Punisher has a new logo. He’s one of several Marvel characters making a comeback after appearing on Netflix. Currently, Daredevil is a major hero for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Charlie Cox reprising his role in both movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home and shows like She-Hulk. He even starred in his own series, Daredevil: Born Again, which is how Jon Bernthal’s Punisher will return – first in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie, and then in a special presentation on Disney+.
A new logo for the upcoming Marvel series featuring the Punisher has been revealed by Comic Book Movie. The logo, which features a skull design similar to previous Punisher imagery, could hint at Frank Castle’s story and his pursuit of vengeance in the Disney+ series.

Jon Bernthal emphasized that the upcoming Punisher special will feel directly connected to the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He described the special as being a very intense and authentic portrayal of the Punisher, and shared that he, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Tom Holland all worked to ensure The Punisher’s character felt consistent between the Spider-Man series and the special presentation, and they succeeded in creating that seamless transition.
What Does This New Punisher Logo Mean?

The Punisher’s logo plays a key role in the show, especially after the events of Daredevil: Born Again. Throughout the series, corrupt police officers have adopted the logo, mistakenly believing their own violent actions are in line with Frank Castle’s goals. However, both the comics and the show make it clear that Frank is fundamentally different from these officers – he sees them as just as dangerous as the criminals he normally targets and won’t hesitate to eliminate them.
Okay, so with Kingpin’s corrupt cops now basically copying the Punisher’s skull logo, Frank Castle needs to clearly distinguish himself. We saw in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again how easily things can blur when cops start acting like reckless vigilantes – remember what happened to White Tiger? The point is, these dirty cops are just as bad as any criminal under Kingpin’s control, and honestly, I fully expect Punisher to target them with the same ruthless efficiency he brings to the streets. That’s what I’m hoping to see in the upcoming Punisher special on Disney+ – a clear line drawn between justice and outright corruption, even within the police force.
Fans can expect a lot from the Punisher this year. He’ll be in the latest Spider-Man film, have his own series on Disney+, and star in a new Marvel comic book. The comic will explore the aftermath of his violent ‘Red Band’ series and pit him against the classic villain, Jigsaw.
