Netflix already has a solid collection of sci-fi movies and shows, including hits like The Martian and The Adam Project. Now, it’s added even more to its library! With November underway, the streaming service has released a bunch of new content, and sci-fi fans will be excited about a fantastic trilogy that’s now available.
Starting November 1st, you can watch all three Back to the Future movies on Netflix. Created by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, the films follow high school student Marty McFly and the quirky scientist Doc Brown as they travel through time in a DeLorean, visiting different eras of Hill Valley, California. With the 40th anniversary of the first film – starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd – coming up in 2025, it’s a perfect time for Netflix to offer the complete trilogy.

Plus, it features fantastic characters, memorable lines, and a wonderful soundtrack.
Even decades after its release, Back to the Future is still a hugely enjoyable film. It boasts impressive scores on Rotten Tomatoes – 93% from critics and 95% from audiences – making it the highest-rated movie in the trilogy. The sequels are also excellent; Back to the Future Part II has a 63% critic score and 86% audience rating, and is known for its smart, complex story and thrilling action. Back to the Future Part III provides a satisfying and exciting ending to the series, earning a ‘Certified Fresh’ score of 79% from critics and a 78% audience rating.
