You’ll soon have a chance to play Bungie’s classic sci-fi shooter, Marathon, for a limited period! Sign-ups are now open to participate.
The game has faced some challenges, including issues with its artwork and a slow start in attracting players. However, the development team has continued working on it through private playtesting, and another session is scheduled for December.
From December 12th to 16th, a select group of players will get early access to the game and share their thoughts with the developers at Bungie.
Because the playtest is confidential, anyone who participates won’t be able to discuss their experience publicly. Also, it’s limited to players located in North America.
Marathon is expected to launch before the end of March 2026. If development stays on track, the complete game should be available within the next few months.
So, I’m hearing the Marathon playtest is coming up, and I’m already hyped! Seriously, is anyone else planning on signing up? Let me know in the comments – I wanna know if I’ll be seeing you all in the game!
