About

In the novel The Occultist, Alan Rebels, a researcher of paranormal events, journeys to the enigmatic island of GodStone to uncover what happened to his missing father. Despite his father frequently mentioning the island throughout his life, Alan only knows that his father was born and raised there.

Alan isn’t alone on his journey. He brings his mystical pendulum, a strange object with an unknown history that has been with him through every previous paranormal investigation. As he wanders the foggy streets and eerie buildings – seemingly the only things left on the island of GodStone – he quickly realizes this case will be different from anything he’s faced before.

Until 1950, GodStone Island was home to a notorious cult known for its disturbing experiments and cruel rituals. Since then, no one has dared to visit—until now. Alan, gifted with paranormal abilities, must now navigate the island and either communicate with the unsettling spirits that linger in its abandoned streets and buildings, or avoid their potentially dangerous wrath.

Alan Rebels has seen a lot as a paranormal investigator, but the enigmatic GodStone is different. His quest to find out what happened to his father really pushes Alan’s abilities to their limit. This investigation challenges everything he thought he knew about the supernatural. The GodStone might be cursed, and while it could be broken, Alan wonders if it even should be.
