The One MCU Movie That Can Show You Every Version Of The Hulk At Once Is Almost Here

The Marvel Cinematic Universe began almost 20 years ago with the first Iron Man movie. Since then, the incredibly successful franchise has changed how people around the world view Marvel characters. Heroes like Bruce Banner have become widely recognized and have gained a global fanbase. Now, as the MCU looks ahead, an upcoming movie might finally bring together all the different versions of the Hulk we’ve seen.

The Hulk has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for years, ever since Bruce Banner’s first transformation. Recently, the MCU has started to explore other gamma-powered characters like She-Hulk and Red Hulk, but there’s still a lot of potential. With dozens of Hulk variants still available, the MCU could easily introduce the Hulk Corps in a future Avengers film, though it would likely require some adjustments to Thor’s storyline.

Avengers: Secret Wars’ Source Material Has The Perfect Excuse To Show Every Version Of The Hulk

With the upcoming release of Avengers: Secret Wars, fans are excitedly discussing who will be the main heroes. The movie will unite all of Marvel’s biggest heroes, and many expect the Hulk to play a major role, mirroring the original Secret Wars comic. Now, online, people are wondering what would happen if the movie replaced the Thor Corps from the comics with a team of Hulks instead.

The recent Secret Wars storyline gives the Thor Corps a significant part to play. First appearing in comics back in 1991, the Thor Corps originally came together to defeat Zarrko the Tomorrow Man, a villain from the future with a strong hatred for Thor. While the initial team consisted of three Hammer Brothers from different timelines, Secret Wars dramatically expands the group. This version brings together hundreds of different Thor variants from across the multiverse, at the behest of Doctor Doom, and introduces characters like Thunderer Thorlief, Throg, and Stormborn.

In the comics, a group called the Thor Corps initially fights alongside Doctor Doom before turning against him. They later become key allies in the battle against Doom on Battleworld, offering support to those resisting his rule. With the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptation of Secret Wars, some fans believe the movie might replace the Thor Corps with a Hulk Corps – or Gamma Corps – which would introduce many different versions of the Hulk to the big screen.

The MCU’s Approach To Hulk Means It’d Make More Sense To Have A Hulk Corps

Considering how the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been developing, introducing a Hulk Corps in the Avengers: Secret Wars movie would fit well. Although Thor is a vital Avenger, he isn’t portrayed as a hidden asset. The Hulk, however, is clearly a powerful force—his strength is often exploited by both enemies and allies. Because of the Hulk’s history, Doctor Doom would likely build an army around him instead of Thor. Thor is generally shown as an independent hero with a well-known reputation.

The Hulk is a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, largely because of Bruce Banner’s connections. He’s become a unifying force for the Avengers, especially after Tony Stark’s passing, and that importance will grow with the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Bruce’s central position allowed the MCU to introduce characters like She-Hulk and Red Hulk, and now it’s setting the stage for even more Hulk variations. Once Avengers: Secret Wars arrives, Bruce Banner is expected to lead a whole army of Hulks, potentially including versions like Devil Hulk, Immortal Hulk, Hulkpool, and Hulk the End. It’s difficult to see how the MCU could introduce these characters without first establishing the Hulk Corps.

It’s currently unconfirmed whether the Hulk Corps will be featured in Avengers: Secret Wars. However, there’s been speculation that the movie might bring back previous live-action Hulks, like those portrayed by Eric Bana and Edward Norton. With Avengers: Secret Wars being such a significant event, it needs to deliver something truly spectacular to satisfy fans. While a Thor Corps would be a cool addition, most agree that introducing a Hulk Corps would be a more logical and impactful choice for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The next two major Avengers movies are planned for late 2026 and December 2027. Avengers: Doomsday will be released first, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars.
