The Originals’ Danielle Campbell Marries Costar Colin Woodell

Danielle Campbell and Colin Woodell have a special entry for their diaries.

After being engaged for two years, the stars of *The Originals* got married, seemingly in France, based on photos posted to Instagram on September 15th.

Danielle wore a beautiful silk dress with thin straps, and Colin looked sharp in a black tuxedo. He later changed into a cream jacket for the party outside. The ceremony was full of sweet moments, like when they shared their first bite of wedding cake – Colin playfully put some icing on Danielle’s nose and then licked it off!

Even before their wedding, the couple enjoyed a trip to Europe, visiting places like a cathedral and a bakery. The bride-to-be shared photos and videos from their travels on her Instagram Story.

The wedding marks the latest chapter in Danielle and Colin’s love story, which began over seven years ago. Danielle is known for her role as Davina on *The Vampire Diaries* spin-off, which she starred in from 2013 to 2018, while Colin joined the CW show as Aiden in 2014. Over the years, they’ve shared sweet moments from their relationship, like when Danielle, who also stars in *Waterfront*, celebrated their fifth anniversary in February 2023 with a collection of cozy and joyful photos of them together.

Colin and Danielle announced they were engaged in August 2023, and received enthusiastic support from their fellow cast members on the show *Originals*, as well as other celebrity friends. Danielle was previously linked to Louis Tomlinson of the band One Direction in 2015 and 2016.

Claire Holt, known for her role as Rebekah in *The Originals*, commented “so happy for you both” on Danielle’s Instagram post.

Costar Phoebe Tonkin also chimed in, adding, “Love you both.” 

Kaley Cuoco, known for her roles in *The Big Bang Theory* and *The Flight Attendant* (where she worked with Colin), expressed her happiness about the news with a simple, “Yay!!!”

The actor from *The White Lotus* and his model wife got married in a beautiful lakeside ceremony at Gozzer Ranch in northern Idaho, with views of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Abby, age 28, wore a traditional white wedding dress at her wedding on September 6th. Her husband chose a white tuxedo jacket with black pants, according to photos published by *The Daily Mail*.
