The news is mostly encouraging, especially the addition of Scarlet Johansson and Sebastian Stan, who is expected to play the villain Two-Face. However, some rumors suggest that several important characters from the first film won’t be returning, which is disappointing. Plus, the future of the The Penguin spin-off show is also looking uncertain.

As a big fan of The Batman universe, I was a little bummed to hear that both Colin Farrell’s Penguin and Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone won’t be major players in the sequel. It’s not just the next movie either – Milioti hasn’t even been contacted about a potential return for The Penguin series!
