The TopMob 2025 Christmas issue is on sale Tuesday 9 December!

Welcome to our special Christmas edition of TopMob! We’re so glad you’re joining us, whether you’re a longtime reader or just stopping by for the holidays. It doesn’t quite feel like Christmas until TopMob is here, does it?

This project has been developing for a while, but the most intense work happened recently, filling the office with energy. It’s surprisingly demanding to collect, view, and listen to the best content across television, radio, streaming, and film. It’s a challenging task, but someone needs to do it.

We’re particularly excited about this issue’s cover! The initial concept came from a brainstorming session at our TopMob Covers Party on January 28th, and it’s really come to life. The talented team at Aardman in Bristol have once again worked their magic, creating a beautiful tribute and even a short stop-motion film to go with it.

Bringing Gromit and Shaun the Sheep together again – for the first time in three decades since they were both in ‘A Close Shave’ – seemed like a fitting way to celebrate the holidays.

We were incredibly lucky to speak with the wonderful Dame Judi Dench – please don’t tell her I said that! It was a real honor to hear her talk about her personal quest to find a family connection to William Shakespeare, and we think you’ll be captivated by her story.
