A daring and thrilling show is returning for its fourth season on streaming. HBO is famous for creating bold, original content – shows like the epic fantasy Game of Thrones, which blended huge battles with personal stories, and the intensely moving limited series Chernobyl, which powerfully depicted a tragic historical event. Even The White Lotus, with its captivating portrayal of wealthy and flawed characters, pushed boundaries. However, none of those shows are quite as provocative and explicit as Industry.
The HBO Max series Industry is gaining popularity as a new season approaches. Currently, it’s the 10th most-watched show on the platform worldwide. Originally released in 2020, Industry quickly became a fan favorite, and each season has improved upon the last. Critics overwhelmingly praise the show, giving it a 90
This show centers around a group of young professionals starting their careers at Pierpent & Co., an investment bank in London. Some thrive in the fast-paced, cutthroat world of finance – even though it often involves bending the rules – while others struggle with the intense pressure and demanding lifestyle. The series stars Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Myha’la Herrold, David Jonsson, and Sagar Radia. Kit Harrington joined the cast in Season 3. Here’s what the show is about:
I just finished watching a series about the cutthroat world of London investment banking, and it’s intense. It follows a group of bright, ambitious graduates all vying for a handful of full-time jobs at this prestigious firm, Pierpoint. We’ve got Harper, a woman who reinvented her background to even get a foot in the door, and Hari, a first-generation college grad navigating a world not built for him. Then there’s Gus, who seems to have it all together but carries his own burdens, Robert, desperate to prove himself, and Yasmin, who comes from privilege but is battling personal demons. It’s a really compelling look at the pressures these young professionals face, and how far they’ll go to succeed.
