The Real Housewives of Miami’s Fate Revealed After Season 7

Bravo fans won’t be enjoying the Miami heat any time soon.

Bravo has temporarily stopped producing The Real Housewives of Miami after its seventh season, according to TopMob News.

The show went on hold because, even though many people liked it, ratings were low, and the network decided to stop airing new episodes.

Miami has faced interruptions before. After its third season concluded in 2013, the show was on hold for almost eight years. It eventually returned in 2021 with a refreshed cast and a new home on Peacock for its fourth season.

The seventh season of RHOM, which finished in October, featured new cast member Stephanie Shojaee, a spirited Miami real estate developer, alongside returning Housewives Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, and Julia Lemigova. Also appearing were friends of the show Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth.

And boy did the season end with a bang.

At the reunion, Julia shared a shocking secret about her former best friend, Adriana, explaining what supposedly led to their very public and dramatic falling out.

During the October 2nd episode, Julia told the cast, “I want to explain where things stand with Adriana. We slept together while we were in the Hamptons.”

After a shocked reaction from everyone watching, including host Andy Cohen, Adriana strongly denied the claim, responding with a heated insult and stating she would never engage in that type of activity.

Andy also asked Julia if her wife, the famous tennis player Martina Navratilova, was aware of Julia’s affair.

When he questioned whether Julia and Martina had an open relationship, Julia responded that her marriage wasn’t going well.

Honestly, things got way more intense when Julia revealed they’d actually slept together once, and then had some playful moments at the Versace mansion. It was a total bombshell, and everyone was reeling!

Find out where the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami—including both returning and new members—ranks on TopMob’s list of all the Housewives!

Bravo’s Washington D.C. reality show featured four women—Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner—who didn’t exactly make a lasting impression. It also included one woman so eager for attention that she actually crashed a party at the White House. We’ll get to her story shortly.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

The newest cast member on the Utah edition of “The Real Housewives” had a dramatic and short-lived run on the show. In January 2022, Jennie was let go after old, offensive posts she’d made on Facebook, containing racially insensitive content, came to light. She did issue an apology, but the show had already decided to remove her from the cast.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

Dr. Jen didn’t cause much drama during season 16, and her short-lived marital issues with her husband, Ryne, weren’t particularly exciting. But we’ll always remember her getting noticeably tipsy on wine at the Dubrows’ famously awkward—but surprisingly fun—dinner party.

The nurse anesthetist’s show had a disastrous first season, best remembered for a single, embarrassing incident now known as “Esophagus-gate.”

Katie frequently talked about her charitable endeavors, but didn’t offer much else when filming. She made brief appearances and didn’t really participate as a supportive friend to the other cast members. And leaving the cast trip early was a major breach of etiquette for a reality show personality.

Charrisse is mostly remembered for her highly publicized marital issues during her two seasons on the show, and, of course, her famous champagne room.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

Although it was refreshing to see some diversity on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Peggy became a difficult cast member during season 12. She frequently started strange arguments, often over misunderstandings of simple words, and her decision to isolate herself during the Iceland trip showed she wasn’t suited for the lifestyle.

Nneka’s first season on the show focused on a surprising and dramatic conflict: she accused Wendy Osefo’s mother of witchcraft. It was a shame, as it would have been much more positive to see the two connect over their Nigerian heritage instead of being stuck in this unresolved disagreement.

Noella brought a lot of energy to season 16, but it was often chaotic. Viewers were sympathetic to her personal difficulties – her husband, James, unexpectedly filed for divorce just before filming began. However, it was her ongoing conflict with Heather Dubrow that really kept her from being seen as the least interesting cast member. Perhaps with more time on the show, viewers will connect with Noella.

She went from being a peacemaker in her first season to facing accusations of anti-Semitism and complaining about a cake being thrown in her second—and final—season. It’s hard to think of a Housewife who lost popularity so quickly.

Amber and Jim both seemed to be acting out of desperation. However, Jim appeared much more caught up in the resulting problems, which didn’t reflect well on him.

The only thing most people recall about Karent is that she worked as a dentist, and apparently her colleagues didn’t get along with her. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

Jules was only on RHONY for one season, so it’s hard to place her higher on a ranking list. Still, she definitely brought plenty of drama during her time on the show.

It’s rare for a new reality TV personality to be disliked so quickly, but Amanda Francis, who joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in season 15, managed to do just that. Fans didn’t seem to warm up to her very quickly at all.

Amanda, a financial advisor who calls herself the “Money Queen,” didn’t make a good impression on either her fellow cast members or viewers. People were turned off by her focus on possessions and the unreliable financial guidance she offered.

What really showed she wasn’t cut out to be a Housewife was her unwillingness to argue or confront the other women. Being a Housewife is a tough role, and it’s simply not for everyone.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina was a successful Arab woman who skillfully balanced a modern lifestyle with her cultural heritage. She generally stayed out of the season’s conflicts and, at times, her quieter personality was lost amongst her more outgoing co-stars.

Taleen joined the second season of RHODubai and made a positive impression, but it’s hard to get a complete sense of her personality after only one season of the show.

Angel really struggled during her time on the show, to put it mildly. As the wife of former NFL player Bobby Massie, she repeatedly failed to connect with the other women, and they seemed to enjoy watching her try – and often fail – to find her place in the group.

Even though things didn’t go perfectly, it’s a pretty amazing story that her glamping trip in Colorado resulted in the whole group getting lost and having to eat gas station food.

Definitely a first for the Housewives.

Though she appeared on seasons 11 and 12 of America’s Next Top Model, this reality TV personality didn’t make a big impact on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, mainly remembered for being pregnant throughout her time on the show. However, her unforgettable confrontation with Marlo Hampton while in Tokyo was a definite highlight.

Generally, we like to see how a new Housewife does over at least one full season before ranking them highly. However, Katie made a huge impact right away on season 18 of RHOC, immediately challenging veteran cast member Heather Dubrow. It’s bold to question someone as established as Heather!

To be frank, Stephanie didn’t really impress us. Although she had the potential to be a good addition to the show because of her wealth, we were turned off by how she constantly used her private jet to try and control the other cast members during the seventh season. It just didn’t sit right with us.

Maybe Steph can redeem herself if she returns for season eight.

Okay, so Sara is just… lovely, honestly. A little too lovely, if I’m being real – things were kinda boring until that time she told Caroline Brooks how to raise her kids, and that was good TV! But seriously, what I adore about Sara is how she completely breaks down every expectation people have about Muslim women, especially from the Middle East. She’s just… amazing, and I’m so here for it!

The new cast members on season 13 of RHONJ quickly fell into familiar patterns for Garden State Housewives, getting caught up in a season-long argument over something trivial – a conflict Andy Cohen later called pointless. Sadly, their second season didn’t offer much more depth either.
