Kim Kardashian didn’t have any objection to sharing that she had failed her bar exam.
The Kardashian, who has been studying law for the past six years, said she immediately decided to share the information publicly before it appeared online.
Kim told the New York Times that she received the results on a Friday and immediately suspected they would be published online by Sunday morning. She explained that while she was upset about the situation – especially because of all the effort she’d put in – she was prepared to address it and knew how to improve things moving forward.
She explained that she’s good at learning from setbacks and doesn’t waste time feeling down. While it’s okay to briefly acknowledge a disappointment, she prefers to immediately focus her energy on improving and studying.
Still, the 45-year-old did take a minute to process the news.
She confessed she had a bad feeling about the situation. It made her really uncomfortable and she lost confidence for a while.
So, what is Kim’s plan now?
She shared on Instagram on November 8th that not passing the bar exam wasn’t a setback, but rather motivation to keep going. She explained that being so close to passing actually made her even more determined.
Even if she’d passed her recent exam, Kim Kardashian wasn’t planning on stopping her studies. She explained to journalist Martha Debayle last month that having discipline is a way of showing respect for yourself.

She explained that she really enjoyed having a study routine. It gave her a sense of control, which she valued. She admitted she might be a bit of a control freak, but she loved and needed that feeling of order in her life, regardless of the circumstances.
Kim explained that she didn’t pass the bar exam this time, but sees it as a valuable learning experience. She’s determined to improve, put in more effort, and try again.
