This happened while filming Jungle Cruise, and his co-star recently shared a hilarious story about how she couldn’t even try to top such a grand gift.

In particularly her brought up a story that already went viral about how the Rock bought his stunt double a truck on set, only this time we got it from Whitehall’s perspective, with the actor explaining how he “insane” moment played out to VT.

While working together, he gifted his stunt double a car, and then, unbelievably, gave him a truck right on set! He gathered everyone, handed Tanoi – his stunt double – the keys, and just gave him the truck. It was an amazing surprise, and Tanoi was so moved he started crying.

Dwayne Johnson previously posted a video of him surprising Tanoi Reed with a truck while they were filming Jungle Cruise. Many people assumed the gift was connected to the movie, and that appears to be true. In the post, Johnson explained that his stunt double had put himself in harm’s way for years, suffering injuries like broken bones and torn ligaments to help make the film as good as possible. It’s safe to say he wasn’t on the same level as Dwayne Johnson during filming, and I really connected with his amusing story about what happened as a result.
