The dark fantasy action RPG *The Relic: First Guardian*, inspired by the Soulslike genre, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam) in early 2026. This was announced by publisher Perp Games and developer Project Cloud Games.

Bosses are Brutals
The game features 70 challenging bosses, known as “Brutals,” each with a heartbreaking backstory. To defeat them, you’ll need to become skilled in the game’s varied combat system, using different weapons, magic, and abilities that fit how you like to play. Careful stamina management is key, as every block and dodge matters. When you defeat a Brutal, The Last Guardian learns their story and gains powerful items and upgrades to help you continue your journey.
Progression is Environmental
As you explore the expansive world, you’ll discover pieces that grant you new abilities, better armor, and powerful weapons. Make sure to search every nook and cranny and finish all the dungeons to find everything!
