Okay, so I just heard some awesome news! Ubisoft and Evil Empire just announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia is coming to both the Switch and the new Switch 2 on December 16th. I’m super excited to finally get my hands on this!
Okay, so U&I Entertainment just announced that they’re releasing a physical version of The Rogue Prince of Persia for the PS5, Switch, and the new Switch 2! It’ll be hitting shelves on April 10, 2026. They’re doing a standard edition and an “Immortal” edition, which sounds pretty cool. The Immortal Edition comes with the game itself (it’s a game key card for the Switch 2 version), a SteelBook case, a double-sided poster, and these awesome art cards. Apparently, if you flip the art cards over, they all connect to make a piece of the game’s world map! Pre-orders for both versions open up on November 14th, so I’m definitely setting a reminder for that.
Evil Empire’s Lucie Dewagnier announced they’re excited to release The Rogue Prince of Persia on Nintendo Switch. She explained that the game’s quick action and ability to be played again and again make it ideal for both handheld and docked play, and the team is eager for players to experience the Prince’s adventure anywhere they go.
The Rogue Prince of Persia was initially released on PC through Steam on May 27, 2024, before becoming fully available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store) on August 20, 2025. Players can also access the game through PlayStation Plus and Game Pass.
