3goo and Dimps have revealed that The Rumble Fish 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. The game will cost $19.99, €19.99, or 2,480 yen. Players who already have the game on the original Switch can upgrade to this new version with an Upgrade Pack for $4.99, €4.99, or 500 yen.
The fighting game The Rumble Fish 2 was re-released on December 8, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.

About
Released in 2005 and created by Dimps, The Rumble Fish 2 was a hit with players thanks to its fast-paced, technical fighting style. It featured 16 distinct and colorful characters and a unique animation system that allowed for incredibly smooth, detailed 2D character movements, animating each limb individually. The game used five buttons and two super move meters to control the action.
This version of the game includes many improvements found in today’s fighting games. Players can practice with a detailed training mode, compete online with smooth, lag-free matches thanks to rollback netcode, choose between classic 4:3 and modern 16:9 screen options at a fluid 60 frames per second, and browse a gallery of beautiful artwork.
