It’s likely you’ve heard about it already. Following the merger between Six Flags and Cedar Fair, there have been changes in management and financial setbacks. The combined company is currently streamlining operations, reorganizing, and unfortunately closing some parks in regions where both brands were offering too many attractions. This was generally anticipated.
However, one detail that caught my interest and seems to have been overlooked in most news reports (at least those I’ve come across) is a point that is now being casually mentioned as a secondary aspect in many of the closing narratives.
