Konami’s recent remake of Silent Hill 2 has been very successful, significantly boosting overall sales for the Silent Hill series.
Konami has announced (via Gematsu) that the remake has sold and shipped over 2.5 million copies worldwide.
The video also shows that the Silent Hill series has now sold 10 million copies total. The recent remake made up about a quarter of those sales, having been released last year.
Released in September, Silent Hill F quickly became a hit, selling over one million copies faster than the original Silent Hill 2.
Fans of the horror series have reason to celebrate! Both games have been very successful for Konami, earning positive reviews and strong sales.
