The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood Gives Update on Sharon Osbourne Feud

Sheryl Underwood is ready to talk.

Five years after a public disagreement with her former coworker, Sharon Osbourne, the ex-host of The Talk has spoken about where they stand now.

Sheryl said on The View that she still feels affection for Sharon Osbourne. She explained that she cares about Sharon and hopes disagreements between colleagues don’t escalate into major conflicts.

After learning of Ozzy Osbourne’s death following his struggle with Parkinson’s disease, Sheryl said she attempted to contact his family.

In 2021, Sheryl and Sharon had a falling out sparked by Sharon’s friend, Piers Morgan, publicly challenging Meghan Markle’s accusations of racism within Prince Harry’s family. Sheryl criticized Morgan’s comments as racist, while Sharon defended him. This led to an internal investigation at The Talk, where Sharon worked, and she was ultimately fired amid accusations of racism – allegations she has denied, claiming the dismissal was unjust.

Even though they had a disagreement, Sheryl shared that she and Sharon became close friends over the ten years they worked together on The Talk.

She admitted that after spending so much time with this person, there had to be some affection. She explained that having sat beside her for years, she truly felt her pain and believed they both could have handled things differently.

The 62-year-old explained that she believes some difficult conversations she had on The Talk led to a period of reflection and growth. She feels grateful to have been given a chance to learn from her mistakes and make amends.

And now, Sheryl is willing to quash their feud.

She admitted she’d made mistakes, but then jokingly appealed to Howard Stern to help unite everyone. Turning to her co-hosts on The View, she added, “Let’s all just work together.”

TopMob News has reached out to a rep for Sharon for comment and has not yet heard back.

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

He assured Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay. He explained they went through a personal issue, but it was separate from their work on the show and wasn’t a romantic matter. He wanted to make that clear.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by causing anyone else to be removed from consideration, as he explained on Instagram.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Topher Grace was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed upset during his 2014 appearance on The Talk after she mispronounced his name.

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this business?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She essentially warned him, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean. This followed a post Brittany shared on Instagram on August 23rd, where she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

As a big fan of both JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure, it was pretty shocking to hear about their little disagreement! Back in 2022, JoJo shared on TikTok that Candace was the ‘rudest’ celebrity she’d ever met, and explained it stemmed from Candace declining a photo op with her on a red carpet years ago. But honestly, Candace was super quick to apologize publicly. She admitted she really hurt JoJo’s feelings when she was younger and sincerely said, ‘I’m so sorry!’ It was nice to see her take responsibility and acknowledge how that moment impacted JoJo.

Okay, so they did reconcile, which was amazing! But then, someone asked Candace – my Candace, the head of Great American Family – if we’d ever see same-sex couples starring in their Christmas movies, and honestly, my heart just sank. She basically said no, and that GAF will always focus on what she called ‘traditional marriage.’ It just… it feels like a betrayal of the warmth and inclusivity I always thought the network stood for. I’m still reeling, honestly. It’s like she doesn’t understand what makes the holidays special for everyone.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without proper acknowledgement. Olivia responded with a message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason for his difficult relationship with the Forrest Gump star while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.

I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to go home – that I had everything I needed, he said.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Anyone who watched The Hills likely remembers that famous line from Lauren, spoken at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, alleging she’d made a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting with an Instagram post where Tyrese criticized Dwayne after the release of Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was announced, slated for release in 2019. A month later, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, though he expects they will. He mentioned he did talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others involved with the franchise, saying it was unprofessional and a mistake he takes responsibility for. He explained he was the only one who spoke out, and that was his fault.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began due to a dispute over a dancer and competition between their concert tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

You won’t believe what happened! I just walked into my dressing room and there was a real olive branch waiting for me. It honestly meant the world – such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, successfully dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and later made comments about her co-star that many found surprising.

During a September 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall’s statement to Piers Morgan that they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.

She said she was just devastated. They had talked about it all week, and she was really bothered because that wasn’t how she remembered things happening.

It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we all shared. It started as a professional collaboration, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that those years of working on something special and building a connection with people will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a real privilege to be a part of.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, sharply criticized Madonna, saying her live performances weren’t genuine. He famously questioned how lip-syncing could be considered a live act and even suggested performers who lip-sync for paying audiences deserved harsh punishment.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to justify a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When people show you their true colors, you should believe them,” Shonda explained, adding that she’s lived by this principle and found it to be very helpful.

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi explained what caused the argument with Nicki.

You know, I’ve been dealing with some negativity from another artist lately. I actually tried to talk things through with her a couple of times, and we seemed to reach a peaceful place. But unfortunately, she just kept bringing it up again and again, which is really frustrating.

Okay, so here’s what really set everything off, as far as I could tell. Apparently, Cardi saw that Nicki maybe liked a tweet – just for a second! – that was basically shading her as a mom. Nicki says she didn’t actually like it, that it was a mistake, but Cardi saw it, and honestly, can you blame her?! That’s what started it all, I’m telling you. It was that tweet!

I was set to earn a lot of money from my tour with Bruno Mars, but I chose to be with my daughter instead,” Cardi explained. “I love my daughter, and I’m a really good mom. It’s frustrating when people without children criticize my choices. Everyone says the party wasn’t the right place to see another artist, but I don’t expect to run into someone famous just anywhere, like at the grocery store.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when Kanye interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. While they later reconciled and became friends, their relationship deteriorated in 2016 following the release of Kanye’s song “Famous,” which included a reference to Taylor.

Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Taylor didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”

The rumored rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez began in 2003 during a German television interview. When asked about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey famously stated, “I don’t know her.”
