The latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Perfect Order, is now available! Released on March 27th, this set introduces new Mega Evolution ex cards to the game. It’s a bit smaller than the recent Ascended Heroes collection, with around 120 different cards to find. Early signs suggest this set won’t be as hard to find as some other recent releases, but there are still a few rare and valuable cards players will be hunting for.
The Perfect Order expansion includes three products: an Elite Trainer Box, a Booster Bundle, and a Booster Display. All of these were released on the same day, March 27th—unlike larger sets which are often released in stages. This gives collectors time to open packs and, for some, resell valuable cards. Here’s a ranking of the most sought-after cards from the Pokemon TCG‘s Perfect Order expansion, from least to most expensive.
10) Meowth ex (Ultra Rare)

Meowth is a key ex card in this new collection. It’s a popular Pokémon, and interestingly, it’s not fully evolved – making its appearance as one of the valuable cards in the Perfect Order set quite fitting.
However, cards from this set haven’t become very expensive yet. This Ultra Rare Meowth ex is currently the 10th most valuable Chase Card and is selling for about $15 on websites like TCG Player.
9) Poke Pad (Ultra Rare)

The Poke Pad is a really cool new Item card from the Mega Evolution set. I was excited to find the special full-art version in my Perfect Order box and immediately thought it would be a highly sought-after card. It turns out I was right – it’s currently one of the ten most valuable cards in the set.
The Ultra Rare Poke Pad, similar to the Meowth ex card, isn’t selling for much. It’s currently listed around $18. While that’s not a bad profit if you only bought a few packs, it’s not a huge return on investment.
8) Jacinthe (Special Illustration Rare)

Jacinte is a memorable character in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. I’m a little surprised her Special Illustration Rare card isn’t ranked higher among the most valuable cards to collect. I think this card has a good chance of increasing in value over time.
The Jacinthe’s Special Illustration Rare card is selling for about $30 on resale markets. There are currently around 50 of these cards available, which suggests it isn’t particularly rare – and that might be why the price isn’t higher.
7) Clefairy (Illustration Rare)

As a big Clefairy fan, I think this Illustration Rare is seriously adorable! Honestly, I never expected it to be one of the pricier cards in the Perfect Order set. It seems like it might be one of the harder-to-find Illustration Rares, and that’s probably why people are willing to pay so much for it right now.
As of today, the Clefairy Illustration Rare card from the Perfect Order set is selling for around $31 on online marketplaces. That’s a pretty good price for a card of this type, and several have already been sold for around that amount. This card could turn out to be a surprisingly valuable find from the set.
6) Mega Clefable ex (Special Illustration Rare)

I think Mega Clefable is one of the best new designs in the Legends: Z-A set, and it’s great to see it featured in a beautiful, colorful Special Illustration Rare called Perfect Order. It’s a really eye-catching card that many collectors will want to get their hands on. However, it seems a bit more common than some other cards in the set, as there are already over 70 copies available on TCG Player.
Right now, you can find Mega Clefable ex selling for around $73 online. However, its price is probably going to decrease because so many cards are already available for sale, just one day after the release of Perfect Order. It’s actually already dropped significantly from yesterday’s high of over $150.
5) Mega Starmie ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Mega Starmie ex is the 6th most valuable Chase Card in Perfect Order. This Special Illustration Rare features a fun new Pokemon from the Legends: Z-A set, and is one of the rarest and most desired cards to collect.
Right now, you can find Mega Starmie ex selling for around $80 on sites like TCG Player. This makes it one of the most valuable cards to collect from this set. Interestingly, even though it’s one of the only brand-new Legends: Z-A Megas included, it’s only ranked around fifth in terms of popularity and price.
4) Rosa’s Encouragement (Special Illustration Rare)

This charming, rare illustration depicts a female character—either the protagonist or a rival—from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. With growing interest in potential remakes of the Generation 5 games and its beautiful artwork, the Rosa’s Encouragement card is a highly sought-after chase card for Perfect Order collectors.
We’re nearing the end of our list of the most valuable cards from this set, and prices are now close to $100. Currently, a near-mint version of Rosa’s Encouragement Special Illustration Rare is selling for around $95 on average.
3) Mega Zygarde ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Mega Zygarde is the highlight of the Perfect Order set, making it one of the most sought-after cards. While its design isn’t everyone’s favorite, this Special Illustration Rare version looks fantastic, boasting a beautiful color scheme and thankfully, no giant missile!
Based on current resale listings, this Pokémon card appears to be more readily available than the Meowth ex. There are approximately 42 copies listed on TCG Player, averaging around $130 USD each. It’s likely this card will eventually be worth more than the Meowth ex, though the price difference between them is currently small.
2) Meowth ex (Special Illustration Rare)

Currently, one of the most valuable cards from the Perfect Order set is the Special Illustration Rare Meowth ex. The card features a vibrant background and prominently displays Meowth. Its value is also boosted by the fact that it’s an ex card featuring a Pokémon before its final evolution.
This card isn’t commonly found, and current prices are around $140. Several have recently sold for between $115 and $170. I expect the price to stay above $100 in the next few weeks, as it’s a harder-to-find card from the Perfect Order set.
1) Mega Zygarde ex (Mega Hyper Rare)

As expected, the Mega Hyper Rare card from Perfect Order is the most valuable chase card. While I’m not a fan of the card’s design – I generally don’t like gold cards – it’s undeniably rare and was clearly intended to be the star of the set.
The Mega Hyper Rare Mega Zygarde ex card is currently selling for around $179. While this is lower than similar rare cards from the Ascended Heroes set, it’s still early on, and the price could easily change.
Okay, so I’m super hyped about the Perfect Order set! I’m dying to know – which cards are you hoping to pull? Let me know in the ComicBook Forum – I want to hear what everyone’s going for!
