It feels like I’ve been waiting ages, but the TV schedule for 2026 is finally out, and that means a new season of The Traitors is on its way! I’ve been really excited since the cast was announced, and there’s one cast member in particular I’m eager to watch. In a recent interview, they asked everyone about their most deceitful moments, and Donna Kelce’s answer really stood out. I can’t wait to see how she plays the game and interacts with the other contestants in the castle.
Donna Kelce is famous as the mother of NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, and soon will be Taylor Swift’s mother-in-law. Now, she has a chance to become a reality TV icon! I’m really excited to see her on The Traitors, and her answer to Entertainment Weekly about the most deceitful thing she’s ever done has me completely hooked.
I’m not even sure I should discuss this. But sometimes people play tricks on others simply for entertainment. I’ll stop there.
Many of the other contestants are experienced media personalities or have appeared on TV before. Donna Kelce, however, is a regular person—not a professional entertainer—who unexpectedly finds herself among reality TV stars. Interestingly, because of her sons’ fame, she’s also comfortable around celebrities, which might make her the most relaxed and genuine contestant on The Traitors.

Caroline Stanbury mentioned that despite appearing calm, many cast members felt intimidated by Travis Kelce during the game. It wasn’t necessarily Kelce himself they were afraid of, but how Taylor Swift’s fans might react to whoever went up against him, especially considering his connection with Swift.
I also appreciate that Donna Kelce on The Traitors doesn’t seem interested in using the show to launch another reality TV career. It’ll be refreshing to see someone simply playing the game, rather than trying to manufacture moments to get on more shows. That said, I wouldn’t mind at all if she ended up competing on The Amazing Race or Survivor after this!
Donna Kelce kept her performance on The Traitors a secret from her sons, Jason and Travis, and wouldn’t tell them how it went. They believe they would already know if she’d won, and they probably have a good point. However, I’m hoping she’s a master of disguise and will surprise them by making it all the way to the final round.
