As a huge fan of ‘The Traitors,’ I have to say they started the new year with a bang! Not only did the latest series deliver as always, but they also added a twist that really worked – it was a brilliant move, honestly.
The first episode of the show has already attracted over 12.1 million viewers – and that number is still rising. Host Claudia Winkleman revealed a hidden ‘Traitor’ during the episode.
The game introduced a new role that gave one player a significant advantage, and their identity was kept hidden from both their fellow Traitors and the audience. This secrecy lasted until Hugo was eliminated, revealing the hidden Traitor’s presence in the turret.
The secret Traitor turned out to be Fiona! She’s become a memorable character on The Traitors, and she’s now revealed the exact moment Claudia Winkleman gave her the red cloak.
Fiona described being selected as “absolutely magical” while speaking at the TopMob Covers Party 2026.
Fiona caused a stir at the castle when she accused Rachel of being a Traitor, sparking a conflict with the other players. She believed Rachel had lied about something Amanda had shared with her privately, leading Fiona to declare war on those she suspected of betrayal.
Despite their initial plan, it failed when everyone in the castle supported Rachel and believed Fiona had betrayed them. Fiona was exiled, and those loyal to Rachel successfully removed a true conspirator.
Despite leaving the show, Fiona says she looks back on her time with great fondness. She shared, “It’s been a wonderful experience. Everyone has been incredibly kind and generous, and I’ve really enjoyed meeting fans and taking photos with them. It’s been truly joyful.”
